Welcome to Season 2, where things are going to....... well things are going to be different in the boys universe is all I can say.
At Vought Tower
Right outside of the Seven meeting room we see the statue of the entire Seven being worked on, the workers were currently cutting lamplighter out and we're going to replace it with a statue of Starlight that was nearby. We see a man in a suit walking past with two big paper bags filled with food.
He enters the Sevens meeting room and there are many officials inside seemingly having a meeting. He sets them down onto the table and starts to look through the bag and he calls out the first food that was on top.
???: Baby kale salad?
One of the people raised there hands signaling that was their order. At the end of the table we see Mr. Edgar putting on his glasses and looking down at a folder similar to the one everyone else had.
Mr. Edgar: I'm on page 134. Chain of command doesn't apply to other military contractors in the field; I don't see why it should apply to us.
Mr. Secretary who was sitting next to Mr. Edgar looked up at him.
???: Caprese sandwich?
A man behind Mr. Secretary raises his hand to receive his food.
Mr. Secretary: Well, when they're in actual combat, whom exactly do your heroes report to?
Mr. Edgar looks at Mr. Secretary with a straight face as if the answer wasn't already obvious.
Mr. Edgar: Same person as always. Me.
Al 'Zabadani, Syria
We see Syrian lady walking around with an empty cup in hand. All of a sudden her eyes widen in shock but before she could do anything her throat was cut up causing the blood to spill into the cup filling it half way. The lady falls to her knees but the cup was taken out of her hand and placed on a nearby table.
Back at Vought we see the man call out another lunch order.
???: Spicy chicken cilantro wrap?
A man raises his hand for his food. Mr. Edgar goes on to talk about a different topic within the contract of allowing Supes into the military
Mr. Edgar: Subheading 16. We need a top secret, Yankee White designation for Compound V.
Mr. Secretary scoffs at the prospect of Mr. Edgar's demand.
Mr. Secretary: Come on, Stan. Only one man okays that. You want to stroll into the Oval Office and start barking orders?
Mr. Edgar's response was quick and emotionless.
Mr. Edgar: Hell yes. Half our own heroes don't know they have Compound V in their veins. You want China finding out?
Back in Syria we see two men just standing guard outside in the dead of night. One of them gets distracted by something and takes a few steps to look at it. But he stopped when he heard his friend choking turning around he sees his friend holding his throat with both his hands and blood seeping through the space between his fingers.
The man could only stare in shock as he starts frantically turning around and aiming. All of a sudden he was pulled down aggressively and could see that his attacker was Black Noir. Black Noir places one hand on the bottom row of teeth, while his other hand was on the top row of teeth. He then pulls and rips the Syrians head in half.
Back at Vought Tower we see them now debating on a different subject. Mr. Secretary was seen pointing at a booklet that was infront of him.
Mr. Secretary: This one: "Best efforts to limit collateral damage"? We'd prefer stronger wording.
