In a completely destroyed city we see Queen Maeve walking around as if looking for someone, infront of her she can see two people holding onto each other as they try to escape to a safer place. Clearly those two weren't the ones Maeve was looking for, so she turned around and started to tell the name of the person she was looking for.

Queen Maeve:. Ruby! Ruby!

Ruby: Here! I'm here!

Maeve looks around for the source of the voice and sees a hand sticking out of some rubble, quickly she makes her way to the rubble covered Ruby. Once she arrived she starts to lift the rubble off of Ruby. She then helps Ruby up and makes sure she's okay.

Ruby: Looks like you saved me, Red.

Queen Maeve: No, you saved us. If you hadn't broken into that DHS mainframe...

Ruby: True. I am a hell of a hacker... but I'm no hero.

Maeve decides to correct Ruby for he second time after hearing her say she wasn't a hero.

Queen Maeve: You are a hero in lots of ways.

Ruby; What do you mean?

Queen Maeve:. You're not afraid to live your life. To be who you really are. Me, I'm... I'm afraid to... to show the world who I am.

Ruby: Yeah? So who are you, Maeve?

Queen Maeve: I'm a lot like you. I'm gay.

Maeve says it with a smile on her face, she then grabs Rubys hands and slowly leans in to kiss her. But then an explosion happens in the distance interrupting both of them.

Queen Maeve: We have to keep moving.

They then start to walk off looking for somewhere safe to be.

Bourke: And... cut!

It is then revealed that this was a movie set, Bourke and a few crew member start to walk over to Maeve and the actor who played Ruby.

Bourke: Brilliant. Yes, that was absolutely brilliant. Gang, let's check that. And, ladies and gents, it is a wrap for today! Good job, people.

While Maeve was stomping of the set with a displeased look on her face, the actor who plays Ruby was following after her with a more than pleased look on her face, she clearly enjoyed the scene she had with Maeve.

Ruby: That was so great.

But Maeve ignored her and started to make her way towards a certain someone that was seen sitting down and watching from afar.

Homelander: Hey, Marty, play that back, please.

Homelander is seen watching a replay of Maeve's scene that they had just shot, but he purposely asked to rewatch it when Maeve had stopped right infront of him as a way to antagonize her.

Queen Maeve: You enjoying this?

Homelander: Yeah. This new Joss rewrite really sings, huh?

Queen Maeve: When are you going to stop torturing me?

Homelander only looks at her with a confused look, as if the question was the weirdest one he had heard all day.

Homelander: Don't know what you're talking about.

Maeve sighs and looks away before looking at Homelander.

Queen Maeve: If I promise to never see her again, will you stop?

Homelander looks at her this time with one of his signature shit eating grins that he has when he's mocking or insulting someone.

Homelander: But, Maeve, you're in love. It's beautiful. Elena's good for you, and I'm not gonna let you throw that away. Not now, not ever. I mean, that would be cruel.
