As soon as River and Shimmer got to Ponyville, "Is that Shimmer, you're carrying?" Pinkie asked in concern as she galloped over to them. "Oh, my. What happened to her?"
"Oh, hi Pinkie." River said. "The mean clone of her attacked and captured her. The clone then disguised itself as her in order to lure me to the mean ones' lair where there were more of them. And the clone wouldn't let us go until it got a syringe of my blood, which she agreed to."
"You're talking about Suffer, right?" Pinkie asked curiously.
"Yes." River replied. "Wait, how did you know that?"
"One of the mean ones is based on me." Pinkie replied.
"Oh, I remember seeing it." River said.
"Regardless, we must get Shimmer to her castle." Pinkie said.
"Um, what for?" River asked in confusion.
"So, she can rest." Pinkie replied.
"That makes sense, let's go." River said.
"Follow me." Pinkie said as she started to pronk in the direction of the Party Palace.
"Wait up, I'm carrying her." River said.
"I forgot." Pinkie said as she pronked back, and pulled a cart out of nowhere. "Here ya go."
"Thanks, I guess." River said as she laid Shimmer down into the cart. "Um, I don't know how attach myself to the cart." River said.
"Oh. I've got it." Pinkie said with a smile as she attached River to the cart.
"Um, thanks but please never do that again." River said.
"Oki doki loki. If you say so." Pinkie said with a smile as she began to pronk in the direction of the Party Palace. Pinkie glanced behind her just to make sure River was following.
River followed the crazy pronking pink mare through Ponyville and all the way to the Party Palace.
After a few minutes of trotting and pronking, "We're here." Pinkie said.
River let out a sigh before she said, "Thank goodness."
"I'll let Cortana know that we're here." Pinkie said as she happily trotted to the door and knocked on it. "Cortana, it's Pinkie and Shimmer's cousin."
"Pinkie, River, what can I do for you?" Cortana asked as she opened the door.
"Shimmer was attacked by Suffer and needs to rest." Pinkie replied.
"Thank you, for telling me. I'll get her to bed right away." Cortana said. "You two best be heading to bed yourselves, considering how dark it is."
"Aww, shoot. You're right Cortana. Night guys." Pinkie said before she galloped towards Sugar Cube Corner.
"And you, Miss Rose, need to come inside and get some sleep." Cortana said.
"Alright." River said as she carried Shimmer into the castle and up to her room.
After Cortana and River laid Shimmer down on her bed, they went to their own separate rooms and went to sleep.
