As soon as Shimmer got to the Everfree Forest, she landed on the ground. "Suffer I know you're here. And I know that you were watching me earlier." Shimmer said.
"Oh, I was." Suffer said as she flew into view.
"Come down here, we need to talk." Shimmer said.
"As you wish." Suffer said as she landed on the ground. "What do you wanna talk about?"
"Are you targeting my cousin?" Shimmer asked curiously.
"Well, duh. Of course." Suffer replied.
"No, you need to leave her alone." Shimmer said.
"You can't stop me, Shimmer." Suffer said with a sinister smile.
"Why?" Shimmer asked.
"Cause you have her and I don't." Suffer replied. "Oh. I'm gonna need you to stay out of my way."
"I will not." Shimmer said.
"I was hoping you'd say that." Suffer said. "Dark Quartet capture Shimmer."
"Wait a minute, who's the Dark Quartet?" Shimmer asked in confusion.
"The Dark Quartet is my friend group." Suffer replied.
"Wow, you're such a copycat." Shimmer said.
"Enough!" Suffer exclaimed. "Dark Quartet, get her."
"With pleasure." Mean Pinkie said as she and the rest of the Dark Quartet appeared.
"Get off of me, you jerks." Shimmer said as she tried to get them off of her.
"Sorry Shimmer, but they don't listen to you." Suffer said.
"Why are you doing this?" Shimmer asked while struggling against the Dark Quartet.
"To keep you out of my way. I will clone River and there's nothing that you or your friends can do to stop me." Suffer replied before she let out an evil laugh.
Shimmer was captured within minutes after that, due to her lack of magical knowledge.
"You guys certainly made quick work of her. Quicker than I expected." Suffer said. "Take her to the cave."
"Ya heard her, Dark Quartet." Mean Pinkie said as they carried Shimmer away to the Cave of the Mean Ones.
"Sorry Shimmer, but it's my turn to be the princess of parties." Suffer said as she disguised herself as Shimmer and teleported to the Party Palace.
