"Come on out guys." River said as she got out of the water.
"River, who in Equestria, are you talking to?" Shimmer said as she came out of her castle.
"My new friends, of course." River replied.
"Oh. Well if that's all, then would you be so kind as to explain to me what in Celestia's name happened to my spell book?" Shimmer asked in anger as she levitated the book.
"I simply borrowed it." River replied.
"Look River, I don't mind if you borrow my books but please don't ruin them." Shimmer said.
"I didn't ruin it." River said with a smug grin.
"Are you being serious right now? You crossed out my name and wrote yours. How is that not ruining it?" Shimmer asked in anger while her mane and tail deflated slightly.
"Like I said, I didn't ruin it. Instead I improved it." River replied with a smile as her friends came out of the water.
Unfortunately, Bubble and Shell didn't know how to trot, so Spark took upon herself to teach them.
"No, you did not improve it. You made it look terrible." Shimmer said as her mane and tail deflated completely.
"Ok, when you put like that. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to write on your book." River said.
"Ya think?" Shimmer asked.
"Yes, and I'm sorry. I promise to never ruin another one of your books or any of your other belongings." River replied.
"Do you Pinkie Promise?" Shimmer asked curiously.
"Yes." River replied. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
"Good." Shimmer said with a smile as her mane and tail completely reflated.
"You better not break it or bad things will happen to you." Pinkie said in creepy voice as she appeared out of nowhere.
"Gah!" River yelled in horror as she turned around, only to have Pinkie's face mere inches from hers.
"Pinkie, can you please give her some personal space? Shimmer asked.
"Oki doki loki, can do." Pinkie replied with a salute as she backed up.
"Thank you." River said. "Shimmer, Pinkie, these are my friends."
"My name is Spark Light and I am a vampony." Spark said.
"Wow. Ya know, my fellow element bearer; Fluttershy, got spit on by vampire fruit bats one day and it caused her to become a bat pony. It was crazy. She had tufted ears, bat wings, fangs, her cutie mark even changed from butterflies to bats, her mane and tail were a total mess and she had like, no control of herself. Me and my fellow element bearers had to use her own ability called the stare, against her. So, the leader of the elements could cure her." Pinkie said with a smile.
"That was certainly an interesting story." Spark said.
"Thank you. By the way, it really did happen." Pinkie said.
"Anyways Shell, do you wanna go next?" River asked.
"Sure." Shell replied with a bow, "My name is Princess Shell Star and I'm from the seapony kingdom of Vaporia."
"Nice to meet you." Shimmer said also, with a bow.
"And last but not least is, Bubble." River said.
"Hello there, my name is Bubble Pop. I am Shell's royal assistant and best friend." Bubble said.
"Pleasure to meet you as well." Shimmer said. "Pinkie, would you like to introduce yourself?"
"Ooh, I'd love to." Pinkie replied.
"Then please do so." Shimmer said.
"Greetings for I am Pinkie Pie. I wield one of the legendary Elements of Harmony, specifically laughter. I'm also a party pony, Party of 4 member and baker." Pinkie said with a smile.
"And I am Shimmer Song, the princess of parties and leader of the Party of 4." Shimmer said.
"Oh. I gotta go." Pinkie said.
"Really? What for?" Shimmer asked curiously.
"The Cakes took their foals with them on their deliveries, leaving me to keep an eye on Sugar Cube Corner." Pinkie replied.
"Well, go then." Shimmer said.
"Alright, nice meeting you guys but that bakery isn't gonna watch itself." Pinkie said as she galloped towards Sugar Cube Corner.
"Shimmer, would it be alright if I showed my friends around?" River asked.
"That's fine." Shimmer replied.
River, Shell, Spark and Bubble all trotted away from the Party Palace and towards Ponyville.
