Chapter 21: Treats At Sugar Cube Corner

       As soon as they were in front of Sugar Cube Corner, "Wow, this place looks like a gingerbread house." River said.

     "Can we just go in please?" Bubble asked.

       "Alright." River replied as they all went inside.

        The sweet smell hit them so strongly that Bubble began to drool. "Bubble, you're getting drool all over the floor." Shell said.

          "Oops, my bad." Bubble said as she snapped out of it.

            "That's ok, it happens to the best of us." Pinkie said from behind the counter.

             "Hello again, Pinkie." River said as the four of them trotted up to the counter.

                 "Hi." Pinkie replied with a smile.

                   "We met your coltfriend." River said.

                   "Oh. You did?" Pinkie asked.

                   "Yep." River replied.

                     "He sure is something, isn't he?" Pinkie asked with a sigh.

                       "Something is right." River replied in agreement.

                     "Can we get some food, please?" Bubble asked.

        "Of course." Pinkie replied as she pulled a pencil and a notepad out nowhere. "What'll it be?"

                     "I'll have nachos." River replied as Pinkie wrote it down.

                     "I will have vanilla yogurt with chocolate syrup and cherries on top." Bubble said as Pinkie added it to her list.

                       "Ok. And for Shell?" Pinkie asked.

                        "Um, could I just have vanilla yogurt with strawberries and blueberries on top?" Shell asked nervously.

                       "You sure can." Pinkie replied as she put the pencil in her mane. She then trotted into the kitchen. "I'll go make your food while you guys find somewhere to sit."

                         "Ok, thanks." Bubble said.

                                            ~Time skip~

                            "Ahh, we can sit at this booth." River said as they all sat down.

                           "Here's your food, enjoy." Pinkie said with a smile as she gave their food.

                        "Thanks." Bubble said as she began eating.

                        Shell said nothing and began to eat as well.

                       "I don't mean to pry but where's Spark?" Pinkie asked in disbelief.

                         "Eating elsewhere." River replied.

                         "Why?" Pinkie asked curiously. "Not much of a sweet toot?" 

                              "It's not that." River replied. "It's just she's not a normal pony."

                                    "What is she?" Pinkie asked.

                         River glanced a Shell and Bubble before looking back at Pinkie. "She's a vampony."

                               "Oh." Pinkie said. "Wait, that means she went to the Everfree Forest."

                                      "Probably." River said with a shrug.

                                        "Cheesie, keep an eye on things for a bit." Pinkie called.

                                         "Why?" Cheese asked in confusion from behind the counter.

                                            "One of River's friends went into the Everfree Forest, alone." Pinkie replied.

                                              Cheese looked at the table of River and her friends. "Pinkie, Spark's fine."

                                                "I'm still going to make sure she's ok." Pinkie said.

                                                  "Be careful." Cheese warned.

                                                    "I will." Pinkie assured before galloping out of the bakery.
