"Hello! I miss you na." kumaway ako at kinain ang cereal na hawak ko. Because of the time difference we only call when its morning here at lunch time naman ang time niya duon sa london.
"[I miss you too, how's there?]" Tanong niya, its like he's lowkey asking if nathaniel is bothering me here.
"I'm okay! I'm always at home.." I looked down. Tuwing christmas break lagi kaming lumalabas nila mommy pero ngayon parang wala silang time para saakin.
"[Hmm? What's wrong with my love?]" He sofly said and i looked away refusing to talk. Baka kasi madami na siyang problema. Baka dagdagan ko pa kapag sinabi ko.
"Oh, wala yun. Busy lang talaga parents ko so i am always alone." I smiled and he just nodded.
"Ingat ka dyan, okay? Mamaya hindi ko alam may kinikita ka diyan habang wala ako, ah!" Masungit kong pagkakasabi ang he just chuckled.
"[Sino namang kikitain ko dito? Baka ikaw, that guy is just next door.]" Nagseselos niyang sabi.
"[Should i go?]" Natawa ako sa pagkakasabi niya kasi sobrang seryoso niya nun.
"You're so seloso! Hindi nga ako lumalabas!" He pouted.
Maya maya pa ay nakatanggap ako ng call galing kay mommy at agad mo namang sinagot yun.
"[Get ready na, anak. We're going to cebu.]" I smiled big and wide when i heard my mom.
"Talaga? Okay po! " With that the call ended and i told steven about our cebu trip.
"[Ingat ka dun, love. Update me when you have time.]"
"Okay! I'm going to pack my things! I'm gonna text or call you later, i love you my lebi!" I sent a flying kiss and he laughed.
"[I love you more, babe.]" We ended the face time and after i got ready sinundo na ako ng personal assistant ni daddy na si miss jenny papuntang airport.
Ang weird lang kasi nakapag usap naman na kami dati pero ngayon ko lang napansin na sobrang balisa niya buong byahe.
After i got off she said goodbye and the atmosphere between my parents is different. Its like there's something they didn't want to tell me. Hindi ko nalang iyon pinansin and i tried my best to cheer them up and they did.
We shopped for christmas, enjoy our family trips and ate in a resturants but my dad is always out to get a call and everytime dad leave for a while mom's face looked down.
"Is there something wrong?" I tried to ask and mom started to fidget her fingers.
"Anak.. May gusto akong sabihi--" Bago pa man niya ituloy ang sasabihin niya, may dad pull her on the wrist and mom looked hurt.
"Lets go rest." Seryosong pagkakasabi ni daddy. I tried to follow them pero sinarahan nila ako ng pinto at wala na kong nagawa at pumunta nalang ako sa sariling hotel room ko.
Sound proof ang bawat hotel room kaya hindi ko rin sila maririnig kaya nagstart na akong magoverthink. Something's going on and i know its terrible at ayaw pa nilang malaman ko?! I'm not stupid! Mukhang nasasaktan ang mommy ko!
Napagpasyahan kong tumayo ulit at kumatok duon sa kwarto nila habang nagkasalubong ang aking kilay at binuksan na iyon ni mommy. She smiled but i know that its fake.
"Are you okay mommy?" I worrieldy asked and hugged her.
"Okay lang ako! May urgent lang sinabi ang daddy mo tungkol sa business!" She smiled bigger na kahit sino ay malalamang peke yun.
