spoilers: leon get absolutely fucked aka L career

He really doesn't like this.

Okay, fine. It was better than a completely dark facility. At least he wasn't trying to find is way around in the utter darkness, possibly tripping over everything in his path and running into walls when his flashlight dies. But still, did they have to choose blood red as the lighting colour? Darn those engineers or whoever designed them.

His Hazmat Suit had been torn apart when he accidentally stepped near a Kawaii Shork in the Flooded Area. The Shork ripped the suit to pieces but Leon managed to escape. Now he was just praying he doesn't accidentally step into a puddle too.

A shuffling sound snapped his attention away from his thoughts. He could have sworn he saw a purple flurry of something in the corner of his eye. Probably wise to get moving now. He doesn't fancy getting transfured today. Or any day, in fact.

Leon grabbed Mango and slung him across his back, earning a squeak of surprise from the small Slimepup. He speedily walked away, eventually breaking into a run and trying not to look behind him. He could hear footsteps. Not just one person, but rather what seemed like two people chasing him. He could feel Mango clinging onto him for dear life, his blunt claws digging against Leon's chest.

He navigated through the seemingly endless hallways with his mind on autopilot, only thinking about one thing:

Run.

He reached the Crystal Caves and nearly hit one of the large translucent crystals, only managing to stop himself near inches from running into the smooth surface. He saw his reflection, and the two other Gootraxians behind him, their glowing eyes menacing.

Leon whirled around, but before he could unsheathe his knife the Panther pinned him against the crystal [a/n: ayo kinda sus 😳...not what i meant when i said leon gets fucked tho] and grabbed him by the neck, lifting him up and successfully choking him. Leon struggled against the Panther's grasp, trying to kick him but to no avail. He could feel the Goo rising up against his arm, hungrily covering every surface of his skin. To his surprise the Panther dropped Leon. However that surprise didn't last long quickly switching back into fear as the Carneline grasped his shoulder and put one paw on his neck, threatening to sink their sharp crystalline claws into his exposed skin.

With one last burst of energy he halfheartedly tried to push the Carneline's arm away. The Carneline, seeing this, barked a laugh at him and threw him roughly against the crystal. The last thing Leon saw was the Panther beckoning the Carneline away before closing his heavy eyelids and completely blacking out.
