hey so ik i was supposed to post this like 3 days ago, but some things happened and now were here lmao

but holy crap, 1k> reads? thats alot. thank you for the support yall! i really, really appreciate it!

when i first started this book, i didnt really expect to get so popular, it was just a thing i did for fun. but then yall came around and now were here!

im sorry that updates now are inconsistent compared to before, but i just cant find the motivation to do it. i know that a good author would be- well- better, but im working towards it.

enough with my rambling! lets get on to this 1k special story!

"Mango has been so quiet ever since I was transfurred, I just find it so weird!"

The three were sitting in the Crystal Caves, one was a Kaiju with peculiar stripes, another was a ever rare hybrid of the two other crystal siblings and the last would be a strange lime-golden Slimepup, maybe a distant cousin of Abble.

"It's becau-" The Kaiju started, earning a glare and a light kick from the Slimepup. "-Nothing. Nevermind."

Leon frowned. "I feel like you guys are hiding something from me."

"No shit Sherlock-" Another kick.

"Stop it! I get it, Mango!" Lapis threw his hands up.

"You better." Mango muttered, but still within earshot. Leon gasped.

"Ooh! I can understand you! But you're not talking English, so does that mean all Gootrax are born- no, made, with the ability to understand Slimepups?"

Mango groaned. Lapis snickered at him.

It had really freaked Leon out when Mango stepped through the barrier. It had freaked him out even more when he survived, though. It went somewhat like this:

The trio was just playing a game of fetch...with Mango's plushie, of course.

"Give it back!"

"No way! Leon, heads up!"

The tallest Gootrax laughed and caught it with one paw. Mango rushed over to him and tried jumping up to grab it.

Let me explain; they were tossing the plushed Slimepup back and forth, with Mango trying to catch it. It was like a game of piggy in the middle.

It was all going great, until Lapis threw it a teensy bit too hard and it passed through the Safe-Zone barrier, making a bzzt sound as it went through.

"Argh, now look what you did!" The Slimepup exclaimed. Lapis looked at the smaller Gootraxian with an apologetic look.

Leon swished his tail, already thinking of a solution. "Maybe...we can call a Hazzy to grab a crowbar and fish it out?"

"No need. I was hoping I didn't have to show this to you guys, but I guess I don't really have many choices." With that he hopped through the barrier, picked up the plushie and stepped right out.

Leon was almost too stunned to speak. "...Wh- how...? This- this isn't possible...I thought-"

Mango flicked his ear and sat down. "Okay. Long story short, I'm related to Abble. Now I'll let you figure the rest out yourselves.

The rest few days were filled with confusion and two Gootraxians trying to piece together the clues. It was certainly an interesting sight.

Okay fine. Perhaps he was being overly dramatic, but seriously. What did he ever do to deserve such weird cousins!?

Abble was currently showing Mango around her cluttered shop, or rather, her collection of Bloxy Colas. Ever wonder why she has a crazy obsession over them? Mango always does.

"Abble. You. Are. Insane." The younger Slimepup exclaimed. He felt like he was going to explode, or implode, or whatever. Why does he want to explode or implode anyways? Bah, feelings.

Abble only grinned at him more, which only furthermore proved she was insane. "You don't understand, Mango! It's fun! Plus, it's no worse than your little weapon collection."

"Oh shut up already." He muttered before he spotted a box full of what seemed like Tokens. "What. Don't tell me you are stealing Tokens too-"

"The Humans want to trade Bloxy Cola for Tokens. So I need Tokens. It's pretty simple." Abble shrugged.

Mango facepalmed. "That's- I- argh. You know what? Never mind."

oh right! mango goes by he/him pronouns, but if ur wondering why the past few chapters have used they/them for him its bc him, lapis and leon all are males and i just wanted to kinda scale down the confusion for the readers
