Kat POV

It's been at least almost a month since I moved to this small town. There seems to be an increase in sightings of this unique red car. I see it pass my house, see it when I go home, and even see it in the morning on the way to school. Though if I take a drive throughout the town, I have never seen it parked at a house. It was honestly weird, so I started carrying my pocket knife again, just in case. Though the same could be said for the cars that the trio of friends get in. I always see them being picked up and dropped off by them, but never see those cars in town. It's odd to say the least, but I wouldn't know where to start with it.

"Good morning, Ms. Carroll!," I hear Miko yell behind me.

"Morning, Miko," I said with a smile as I turned to look at her. She ran up beside me and smiled back.

"How was your weekend?," I asked.

"It was so cool! I went driving off road in the desert!," she shouted full of excitement. I smiled.

"What about you?," Miko asked.

"I was at the school building adding a few touches to the wall painting," I said with a smile.

"Is it almost finished?," Miko asked.

"Yeah, it's almost done. You'll finally be able to show it to your friends," I answered with a smile, "oh, do you have any more of your unique drawings?" Miko smiled and pulled out her sketchbook. Miko has such an impressive imagination, she drew these characters that were robots and had made a whole story for them. It was honestly pretty cool. I found out about them when I saw her sketching one of them. I think I freaked her out a bit when I did that though, I felt a bit guilty, but she was happy to share after I calmed her down a bit. She especially liked it when I redrew them in my style. She would always say that they look just like them.

"Oh, wow," I said looking at the new bot I hadn't seen before.

"Thanks, I based him off the car you kept seeing," Miko said with a smile. Oh yeah, I had given her that sketch of the red car I had been seeing a lot of lately.

"Hmm, well, it seems to fit just right," I said with a smile, as I looked at the smirk on the robot's face. We had finally made it to the classroom, only for the bell to ring.

"Ah, I wanted to talk to you more," Miko whined a little bit.

"Well, you have my class, lunch, and after school to talk to me," I said with a smile.

"Ok," Miko sighed, as she turned around and dragged her feet to the next class. I chuckled a little bit, Miko is really something. Time to get ready for today's lesson.
