Teachers Don't get Paid Enough to Know About Giant Robots

Kat POV

I laughed a bit at what Miko, Jack, and Raf had to tell me about the day before. Miko was happy to tell me that they had been taught something that actually helped them. Something about how one of the relics that the Autobots needed was in a museum they had learned about. At least some of their lessons are working out for them. I would have gone with them back to the Autobot base, but I was gonna go with Trever to one of the drag races nearby. It had been a while since I tagged along with Trever to a drag race. Hopefully it will be as fun as ever.

I stared out the window, wondering if I was seeing things.

"Kat, is something wrong?," Trever asked. I sat silent for a bit, really wondering if I was just seeing things.

"There are so many students here," I said, as I leaned back into my seat. Drag racing could be dangerous if you didn't know what you were doing, so seeing a lot of the kids I had seen in the hallway of the high school I teach at, it was hard to say I wasn't worried. I felt my stomach drop when I saw Bumblebee pull up.

"Is that?," I hear Trever go to ask.

"Yep, it looks like it is Bumblebee," I said. I sighed a bit. Why was Bumblebee here? Wasn't drag races against their code? I felt myself sink into my seat when I saw Knockout. Oh dear.

"Well this race is going to be interesting," Trever commented as he pulled up to the line. Raf wouldn't do this, and Miko would have brought Bulkhead instead. I then hear Jack's voice ring out and I groaned. Why? Just why? I notice the look on the flag girl's face and was not impressed.

"Aren't you so grateful that I'm gay," I hear Trever comment. I laughed a bit and nodded, oh dear.

We watched as Bumblebee and Knockout drove ahead. I looked on in worry.

"Trever, we are gonna have to follow them," I said. I looked at Trever as he nodded and started driving fast to catch up to the two of them.

We lost sight of them, but I did notice Vince go off somewhere.

"Trever follow him instead. Knowing his stubbornness we'll find Jack and Bumblebee," I said, pointing after where Vince's car had gone. We followed him and sure enough there was Bumblebee. Vince got out of his car and started yelling at Jack. I quickly exited the car and made my way to Vince.

"What are the two of you doing?," I ask. Both boys are quick to look at me.

"Ms. Carroll?!," both say in shock. I rolled my eyes at them and shook my head. I luckily was able to get Vince back in his car and I got him going. I shook my head and then looked back towards Jack and Bumblebee, but before I could say anything I felt myself being grabbed. My eyes widen a bit as I'm thrown in the air and then land into a car. I recognize the interior almost imminently.

"What in the world?," I said. Seatbelts come around and surround me, tying me to the seat.

"I don't think that is how seatbelts work," I comment.

"Hello, again darling," I hear Knockout's voice ring out.

"Hello to you too," I say back. Knockout started his engine and drove off. I raised a brow, why was this worth it? I couldn't complain though, I had quite a few questions to ask the Decepticons. I never liked only seeing one side of things. I moved around a bit, trying to make myself comfortable for this ride.

"Ah, ah, ah. Don't try to run," Knockout said, as I felt the seat belts tighten.

"Wasn't planning on it. Just trying to make myself comfortable in this bundle of seat belts. So thank you for making it uncomfortable again," I said sarcastically. I was planning on testing the limits the whole time. The edge was gonna be my friend. I did smile a bit when the seat belts loosened. I noticed quite a bit of lights in the rear view mirror. Ah, my rescue party is coming already.

"Looks like you already have some company," I commented.

"Not for much longer," Knockout commented, as a portal appeared in front of him. Impressive, I must say. And before I knew it I was on the infamous ship called the Nemesis.
