It's Surprisingly Peaceful

Kat POV

It seems like 'lord' Starscream wasn't too happy about Knockout bringing in a hostage. Even if I was a human hostage from the Autobots. How was he their lord again? Any good leader would know that I would be pretty valuable.

"Though I guess the human would have some value," I hear 'lord' Starscream say. Well, I got what I wished for, I guess.

"Though your success will not overshadow your failure to listen," Starscream said. I raise a brow, I guess I'm worried about Knockout. I mean, me and Trever 'knew' him before we found out about the Autobots. And I guess you could say we were on somewhat good terms.

"Do not worry, your punishment shall be merely cosmetic," Starscream said as he smirked and raised one of his claws. I cringed a bit. To most that would be nothing, but knowing Knockout, that was just as bad as being beat up in a corner. I guess I was lucky to have been handed off to Breakdown because Starscream took no time to give Knockout his punishment. I did notice how both me and Breakdown looked away as Knockout screamed about his finish being ruined. Looks like that's gonna have to be buffed out. I then realized that there was school tomorrow. Oh dear, hopefully Fowler can cover me on the days I miss.

Starscream was not the one I should ask when it came to the Decepticons. I thought since he is their leader he would at least know something. Though I found out from Knockout complaining, that their actual leader was in a comatose state. Too bad I can't go and see that. Then again, I remember the kids and even the Autobots talking about someone called Lord Megatron. I guess that was who was in the comatose state. I wanted to push on the questions, but then again, I was surprisingly allowed around freely. Did I not seem like a threat? Then again I mostly stuck to Knockout and Breakdown without them being assigned to me. Though here I was being handed off to Soundwave. Breakdown said something about Knockout needing him. There was only one place that I knew I wasn't allowed, and I had a feeling that was the room that Megatron was in. I sighed a bit as I sat to the side of what looked to be their version of a keyboard. I was mildly impressed at the speed that Soundwave was typing, I could never be that good. I remember being told to be careful around the one called Soundwave, but I have also been told he was the one who had all the information. So the perfect person to ask my questions to. Then again, I have also been told that he doesn't talk much. Something about a vow of silence, again another thing that was impressive. I wondered if my questions would actually be answered. There is only one way to find out.

"Do you know the reason why the war was started?," I said. I waited a bit and sighed. I got no answer, hell not even a sign of acknowledgement.

"What happened to your Lord Megatron?," I said. I noticed he stopped for a second, but then went back to what he was doing. At least I knew he was hearing me. Though I still didn't get an answer.

"Is it true you made a vow of silence?," I asked. I saw him nod a bit. I smiled. I finally got some kind of reply. I sat there and thought a bit. If he was only gonna respond in nods and shakes of his head I should make the questions yes and no questions. Though as I was sitting there thinking of how to word the questions the sound of the door opened. I looked over expecting Breakdown and maybe even Knockout. Instead I am met with 'lord' Starscream. My smile quickly turned into nothing.

"Why aren't you working fast enough?!," I see Starscream yell at one of the vehicons. I knew my face had to be scrunched up as I looked at Starscream. Why was he treating his subordinates like that? They were doing their best, in fact none of them had left the room in the past hour. I catch Starscream looking up at me and he scowls.

"What's with that face, Fleshy?!," Starscream loudly questions. I didn't even think before I replied to him.

"Nothing too much. Just didn't think I would ever meet someone who made my nephews and brother look like angels," I comment.
