Kat POV
"Hey Kat!," Trever yelled.
"Yes?," I asked.
"Wanna go racing with me tonight?," Trever asked.
"Sure," I replied. He has been upgrading my car and taking it to drag races to test it. I never really drove the car, so it didn't matter much to me what Trever did to it. As long as he didn't scrap it.
It's been about a week since I met the Autobots and found out about the Cybertronian war. Honestly, why has their war continued for so long? It didn't really make much sense. Even when I believed it was fictional, I still wondered why it lasted so long. Probably because of grudges and pride. They could just make a treaty and stick to it. Though they might not know what that is. I hadn't really seen much of Knockout lately, kind of starting to miss him, not the stalking part but the existing part. I guess Bulkhead really scared him off. Maybe I'll see him at the races, me and Trever usually see him there.
I quickly made my way inside to grab my bag and change out of my gardening clothes. I had been planting a few more flowers in front of the house. Should I bring some orange lilies to confuse the bot? It would be funny. Yeah, that would be funny. I went to grab the flower and Alyssia gave me a weird look.
"Who are you giving those too?," Alyssia asked, knowing the meaning of orange lilies. I smiled at her.
"Why don't you come with us and find out?," I said. She sighed a small bit, but gave in and followed after me with Trever.
We finally made it to the race and sure enough, I see Knockout come in at the last second again. He did this every race I had seen him in. Though it was funny now to know that he is actually a giant robot that can turn into a car.
"Hey, look it is the red car again," I commented to Trever. He looked right at the car and nodded.
"Yep, they're here again," Trever said.
"So why did you bring orange lilies anyway?," both of them asked me.
"I want to give them to the person in the red car," I said with a smile.
"Oh, is it the same car that had been following you for a while?," Trever asked.
"Yep, and while there are eyes, I want to give them these," I said, slowly lifting the bonnet. Orange lilies mean hatred in flower language, which is the feeling I have towards Knockout. Not because he is a 'bad guy', it was because he followed me for so fucking long.
I hear the sound of rumbling engines and then the race starts. Trever is able to get ahead of everyone. I see Knockout and another car behind us. I notice the other racer trying to play tricks. He was a little bit behind Knockout and was trying to get ahead of Knockout, no matter the sacrifice. I see the other car speed up and then slam into the back of Knockout.
"Oh, wow, that man is a jerk," Alyssia comments. Knockout catches himself before he goes off the road.
"It looks like red was able to stay in control though," I say. Knockout speeds up to the other car and gets really close, but stays a good distance between him and the other car. We then go over a bridge.
"Oh no, they are not," I say, with a little bit of shock. Sure enough, as the bridge gets closer, Knockout speeds up. As soon as they came to the bridge, Knockout rammed into the back of the other car, causing it to go off the bridge. Both me and Alyssia look back in shock.
"What the fuck was that?!," Trever questions.
"Red just rammed the trickster off the bridge," I answered.
"As much as he was a jerk, I hope he is ok," Alyssia says.
"But we are not going back?," I asked
"But we are not going back," both answer.
It was bumper to bumper towards the end, but Trever was able to win. As Trever went to get the money from the lady, Alyssia stayed in the car, and I quickly jogged over towards Knockout before he could leave. He stopped and I knocked on the window. It stays for a second.
"Knockout, I know you're not a normal car," I said, quietly.
"Oh, don't you know everything," I hear him sarcastically reply.
"I don't know everything, but I do know that you are not the human normal," I commented. The window rolled down a bit.
"What do you want, fleshy?," he asked. I noticed the console in the middle moved as he spoke. I lowered the flowers into the passenger seat. I had been extra careful when making this bonnet. It was more than just orange lilies(hatred), it had basil (good wishes), milkweed (Let me go), candytuft (indifference), and yellow carnation (disappointment). I also put the flowers in an enclosed packaging, cause I had heard that he didn't like a mess.
"A little gift is all," I said, after I had put the flowers on his passenger seat, I quickly walked back towards my car.
