"The Lady Nohs have been serving the Royal family for centuries. Several years ago, when Cheonbugwan and the Noh family united through the marriage of the Gwanju and Gwibuin, the Noh's ended their thousand year pact with the royal family within 400 years. However, they maintained their relationship with the crown.

After their marriage, the Gwanju left Cheonbugwan, wanting to settle with Gwibuin for the rest of his life. He would no longer be a part of Cheonbugwan and neither would any of his heirs. Upon this, the couple built Bigungjeon, a regal town with the protection of the royal family. Everyone was welcome at Bigungjeon. It was a refuge for mages that were accused of sorcery in other countries. Bigungjeon grew, being one of the most powerful communities of Daeho. It was full of powerful mages, most of them being female warriors. Everyone adored Bigungjeon. However, some people loathed the fact that it was Matriarchy similar to how they did Jinyowon. But it didn't stop either of the two communities from growing.

Noh Wol was born to Noh Yeon, the leader of Bigungjeon. She was born on the day of the Lunar Eclipse. This is considered to be a curse. A curse that gave her immense magical powers and immediate repercussions. However, her mother, Noh Yeon, hid this secret from everyone except Wol. She forbade her from performing magic for reasons other than self-defense. However, being the rebel she is, Wol continued doing what she wished to do. Only, she was sly enough to hide it from her mother."
