We got to our homeroom and we were given our classes for the new year I had all my classes with Nina and only had maths with Nick he seemed sad about that because he had a thing for Nina not that she ever noticed. I sat at the back with Nina to my right and Nick in front of her this was our little area during homeroom it was just us and whatever kid was sitting in front of me. After the morning announcements, Nick turned around and smiled as we now had a moment to talk and I was happy to see that I had art first period.

"So I got to ask after last summer what was your kill count," Nick said since he knew I slept around.

"Not sure I lost count around the sixth girl," I said in truth it was only three this summer.

"Danm sister you don't waste time do ya," Nina said.

"So Nick you thinking of making a move yet," I said.

"Whatever do you mean," He said teasing me.

"I mean if you don't mack one before Christmas I'll tell her myself so I suggest you grow a pair and tell her," I said.

"Wait does Nick like someone oh my god who," Nina said.

"You'll see," Nick said.

"No fiar Anna knows," Nina said.

"Anna found out on her own I didn't tell her a thing," Nick said.

"Huh fine," Nina said.

"Anyway Nina I heard that you got a new brother," I said.

"Yeah my mum gave birth 2 weeks ago," Nina said with a smile.

The three of us talked for the whole time until the bell for first period went and we said our goodbyes to Nick as we headed off to art to get some work done and see this new teacher. I took my seat in the second row a few seats away from the middle and got out my sketchbook Nina took the seat next to me and did the same and then she came in. I looked up and my eyes widened at our teacher she was unbearably gorgeous she was beautiful something about her ment I was unable to stop looking at her.

"Alrighty class my name is Miss Standar but I hear you call us teachers by their first names so if you like you can call me Scarlette," She said and at the mention of her name, my heart skipped a beat.

"Yes, Miss," Some kids said.

"Good now I would like to see Annabel after class where are you," Scarlette said as she scanned the room.

"Here," I said raising my hand.

"Good please come and see me I'll give you a late note so don't worry," Scarlette said smiling at me and I know I blushed.

Other than the fact that Scarlette was the only thing I was fully able to think about the class went by as normal as can be expected and when it came to the end I packed my stuff up but stayed put.

"Come here take a seat," Scarlette said as she pointed to a chair in front of her on the same side of the desk she was at.

"What is this about," I said getting nervous as I took a seat.

"Don't worry you're not in trouble I looked over your work from last year you are a very talented young artist," Scarlette said.

"Um thanks," I said.

"I would like to offer you some private lessons that if you are planning on it could jumpstart a career in art," Scarlette said.

"Um that is great and all but at the moment I am not sure what I want to do," I said.

"That is fine but at least consider it or better yet come anyway and then if you never truly do find what you want you would have art as a fallback plan," Scarlette said.

"Sure I'll give it some thought," I said.

"Wonderfull when you decided you will find me here during the lunch hour every day, Now let me write you a late notice for your next class," Scarlette said and I nodded.

I took the late notice and headed off to my next class it was my humanities class the only class I may actually have to pay attention in, all my others I was just naturally smart my grades averaged around B+ to A. I go to my class and put the late notice on the teacher's desk and he nodded I sat next to Nina and she like most of the girls was looking at the teacher with longing. I don't know what it was but something about his school seemed to draw all the hottest people to this place to teach I never figured out why as far as I can tell it's just another school.

"So what did she want," Nina asked.

"Something about private lessons to kick start a career in art if I wish," I said.

"Well are you going to do," Nina said.

"Not sure yet," I said.

"Why," Nina said.

"Nothing it's just..." I said not knowing how to finish.

"You can tell me I won't spill," Nina said.

"Well you know how all the teachers here are super hot," I said.

"You're telling me," Nina said as she nodded to our teacher.

"Well our new art teacher is no exception and well I think I might be falling for her," I said.

"Okay well I am okay with you going around with all the girls your age but a teacher that may be a bad idea," Nina said.

"I never said I was going out with her all I said was that I think I might like her," I said.

"Okay so what is the problem," Nina said.

"Well I do want those lessons but for it to just be the two of us I don't think I could handle that you know what I can be like," I said.

"What if I came with you you know do what I can to keep that lust of yours under control," Nina said.

"That could work, thanks Nina," I said.

"Of course you are like my sister I'll always be there for you," Nina said and I gave her a hug.

"Nina Annabel stop talking or it is detention for the both of you," Said the teacher we quietly laughed and shut our mouths for the rest of the class.

Later at first break, I was sitting outside with Nick as we had a smoke in the designated smoking area for students as we waited for Nina to finally show up. We were allowed to smoke in this school as long as we stayed in the corners of the areas that were labelled smoke corners and most kids here didn't smoke so it was just a few of us. I was with Nick and trusted him but not as much as Nina and it's not unheard of I mean all friends have their share of secrets in their group and well not all are ment to be said.
