I was in my car as I waited for Nina as she had asked me to be the first to welcome her back to school so I told her I would drive her like old times and she agreed. I was texting Scarlette as I waited she was sending me some very sexual messages I was in the middle of reading one of the more expressive ones when there was a tap on the window that scared the crap out of me. I smiled and relaxed when I saw it was just Nina I opened the door and let her in as she got in I sent Scarlette a quick text saying that I will be there soon and then I was on my way.

"So that text was something," Nina said.

"Crap you saw that," I said.

"Well you went exactly hiding it," Nina said.

"So," I said.

"So it definitely seems like things are working out for the two of you or so far at least," Nina said.

"Well I did move in with her last week so..." I began but Nina cut me off.

"SHUT THE HEEL UP WHEN, HOW AND WHY, AMI FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS JUST NOW," Nina said.

"Ok first calm down all will be explained," I said.

"Fine fine" Nina said after taking a few deep breaths that made me giggle.

"So after the whole incident with Jay I no longer felt safe he knows where I live and may send someone after me but he doesn't know where Scarlette lives and since I am 18 now it seemed as good a time as any," I said.

"I get that but what about college next year," Nina said.

"Well I found one that is not too far from here I will have to stay there but I can come back to her every weekend if need be and she can do the same for me," I said.

"In that case, I will go to the same place as you," Nina said.

"I thought you had your heart set on Yale," I said.

"That's if I get in but I am worrying that my grades may not be good enough," Nina said.

"Don't worry I'm sure you will get in," I said.

"Yeah but if I don't then I will be sticking with you," Nina said as I pulled into the school parking lot.

I got out of the car and a few kids came up to me and congratulated me on making it some even gave me gifts I walked into the building and there was a banner up with my name on it with the words welcome back. I barely had a chance to fully read it before I heard the whole place erupting in cheers as I look down it looked like the whole school was there clapping and cheering for my safe return. I smiled at this and they all came over I was hugging and shaking hands with a bunch of kids and it was nice to be given nice compliments for a change.

"So how was that?" Nina said was we finally got a moment to ourselves.

"How do you think for years her I was treated like crap or avoided with you and Nick being the exception and now I am like a damn superstar," I said.

"And all it took was for you to get stabbed in the gut," Nina said.

"Yeah but I don't recommend it," I said and we both laughed.

"I don't know seems like a small price to pay all of this fame," Said... Tiffany.

"Tiffany," I said surprised.

"What do you want," Nina said.

"Nothing but they cleared out Jay's locker a week ago so I broke in before then and took some of my stuff I gave him and I found this," Tiffany said as she handed me a small locket.

"I don't believe it," I said as I took the locket back.

"Is it important?" Tiffany said as she looked at it.

"It was the last thing my mother gave to me before she died I thought I had lost on my first day but that bastard had it this whole time," I said.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that," Tiffany said.

"Okay what is this," I said.

"What," Tiffany said.

"You being, nice," I said.

"Well after well you know I felt that I might need better friends not you exactly but being nice is a good place to start," Tiffany said.

"So you want better friends but not me and you think the best way to do that is by being nice," I said.

"Yeah I guess," Tiffany said.

"Well I accepted your honesty," I said as I put the locket safely away in my bag.

Later I got back to the apartment I now shared with Scarlette and I was going over my homework when she came back with a bunch of groceries bags.

"So this is why you're coming home late," I said as she set the bags down on the table.

"Sorry babe but I thought seeing as we are now living together just like we planned we could celebrate," Scarlette said as she pulled a few pizza boxes out of the bag.

"So we having some guests because not that I won't try but I don't think I can eat three full pizzas," I said.

"As it happens yes I was at the store buying us some nibbles when I ran into Nina and Nick looks like you told her about us living here and she was very insistent on coming over at some point so Invited her and Nick," Scarlette said.

"So you okay with her knowing and coming over," I said.

"I trust you, and you trust them," Scarlette said.

"Fair enough I suppose," I said.

Scarlette gave me a quick kiss on my cheek before she told me to get back to my homework before the others got here acting more like a mother than a teacher. I was about two-thirds of the way done when the was a knock on the door I grabbed all my stuff and put it in the bedroom as Scarlette opened the door. After I left the bedroom and made my way back down to the others they were both in awe at how amazing Scarlette's place was well I guess it is our place now.

"Wow you have definitely found a real keeper here," Nina said as she looked around.

"Not gonna lie I'm impressed," Nick said.

"Really I'm pretty sure you being impressed was in the book of revelations somewhere," I said getting a laugh from Nina and a giggle from Scarlette.

"Yeah yeah laugh it up," Nick said.

"So we getting this party started or what," Nina said.

"I'll heat up the oven," Scarlette said.

That night I was having way too much fun watching Nick make a fool of himself on purpose mostly as me and Scarlette stayed close as we all enjoyed ourselves and after the two of them left I spent the night in Scarlette arms as we fell asleep.
