I woke up on Wednesday as I looked around I saw that I was not in my room I wasn't scared not much scares me anymore these days so I slowly sat up and realised I had arms around me. I looked to the side to see who the arms belonged to and saw Scarlette laying there in a tank top that fit her curves a little too perfectly I could see what was on her bottom half but it was a hot day last night. I loosened her grip around me and left her room for some breakfast I looked around and all I could find the ingredients for was toast so I had a few slices.

"You could have waited a few more moments I would have liked to wake up to you next to me," Scarlette said as she hugged my shoulders from behind.

"You looked far too peaceful to wake up," I said and I gave one of her hands a kiss.

"Next time just do it I don't care if I look like an angel just wake me up," Scarlette said but she didn't smile like I expected her to.

"Something wrong," I said.

"What," Scarlette said.

"Well, normally when you say something like that you would smile," I said.

"I just got family coming over," Scarlette said as she continued to hug me.

"But I thought you hated your family," I said.

"Oh I do but social protocol dictates that I let them visit at least once a year," Scarlette said.

"So when do they get here," I asked.

"A few days and don't worry I am making them find a hotel, No way am I letting them stay with me," Scarlette said.

"So who is coming exactly," I said.

"My mum and dad along with my sister and my younger brother," Scarlette said.

"That all of them," I asked.

"No, I have two other older sisters but they are happy living with their husbands overseas," Scarlette said.

"That's nice but we should get going cant be late you least of all," I said.

We got into Scarlette's car and she stopped so I could get out a few blocks away so no one would get suspicious and then I walked in and found Nina and she was talking with Clara and then Clara gave Nina a kiss on the cheek before walking off.

"What was that," I said as I got to her.

"No idea she was asking about if I was planning on having a party at some point and all I said is I would give her the first invite," Nina said.

"And are you," I said.

"Am I what?" Nina said.

"Planning on having a party," I said.

"Not exactly," Nina said.

"What does that mean," I said.

"Nothing never mind," Nina said as she walked off.

"Well this day is already getting weirder and weirder," I said to myself.

I was in my class before lunch and I had my mind on something else I was every now and then throwing glances back to the front of the class to give off the illusion that was paying attention. I had my notebook open and a pen in hand but there was nothing in it and the pen was just in my hand but hadn't touched the notebook once but I guess being at the back meant no one noticed. As the bell went I packed up all my stuff and pulled out my lunch that I had made the previous day I ate it as I made my way to the art room to see Scarlette. I got to the class and heard voices so I stopped by the door to look in and see what was going on I looked through and Scarlette was talking with someone around her age.

"You can't be here not now," Scarlette said.

"Why not," Said the other woman.

"You know damn well why," Scarlette said.

"So this is it we're are just not going to talk," She said.

"If you are really going to say what you said after seeing me for the first time in 6 years then yeah that is it we have nothing more to say," Scarlette said.

"But why not," She said.

"Because it's clear nothing has changed," Scarlette said.

"Hey I'm, oh sorry," I said walking in.

"Oh Annabel sorry this is Lisa, my sister," Scarlette said.

"Oh hi," I said.

"So you are the one that has a bright future in the art world," Lisa said.

"I suppose," I said.

"From what my sister has told me I would say it is pretty much a done deal," Lisa said.

"Anyway, Lisa it's time for you to go," Scarlette said and Lisa left.

After Lisa had left and we were sure that she would not come back Scarlette pulled me close to her and kissed me I kissed back as she pushed me to a table and I sat upon it bringing me to eye level with her. We pulled away after a moment and I looked at her I only now realised that the blinds were drawn and the door was also covered so no one from the outside would see. I smile and she smiled back before she put one hand on the side of my face and then kissed me again I wanted to ask her about her sister but the way she was kissing me told me not to.

"Your getting a little impatient don't you think," I said.

"Don't act like you weren't enjoying that," Scarlette said.

"I never said that," I said as I grabbed her by the collar and pulled her in for another kiss.

I got home that day and looked around for my dad but he wasn't home since I was alone I went into my mum's studio and pulled out a few things I looked around as that always made me come up with an idea of what to draw. Then a vision popped into my head it was risky but I felt like it would be the perfect thing to draw given the way things were at the moment and I knew that Scarlette would love it. I was drawing more of a memory of mine it was like I was looking on at something had done from the outside it was a 3rd person view of something I did.

"Annabel are you home" I heard my dad call out as the door opened.

"I'm in here be out in a sec," I said.

"Okay," My dad said.

I took a look at my drawing and it wasn't done but it was good I decided to show it to Scarlette in a few days when it was done I pulled a sheet and covered the easel and left the room. I took a look at the clock and saw that I had been in there for a good 4 hours I heard my dad talking to someone in the kitten so I walked to see who then I froze as my eyes widened as I saw who was sitting across from my dad it was Scarlette.
