“CARLOS?!”

“What are you doing here?” Janice asked.

“Nothing, I thought I'd join you guys since May called.” Carlos replied.

“Carlos, no one invited you here— wait, May?” Abby asked.

“Yeah.”

“May, huh. Do you have any idea where she is?” You asked.

“Yeah, she texted me and said she needed a ride home.” He replied as she showed you text messages from May.

“Well I don't remember May being that stupid though. I mean later tonight we'll be leaving. Couldn't she wait?” Abby asked.

“I don't know. I told her the same thing since there's classes tomorrow afternoon but she insisted.” Carlos answered.

“Wait that doesn't make any sense.” You said as you snatched Carlos' phone from his hand and read the messages. “This trip took us a whole day drive and May messaged you last night around 10 pm. You drove here, Drove back home and drove back here again and only took a few hours?” You stated.

Something is Definitely wrong.

“Dunno. I guess there's less traffic at night and at Sunrise.” Carlos said as he looked at Camilo. Camilo also glared at Carlos. This is Bad.

You then stood up and Pulled Carlos away from the others near the restrooms, “I'll be back, mi amor.” You reassured Camilo.

When you arrive at the restroom, Carlos stared at you looking mad.

“Camilo, why are you here?!” You asked.

“What do you mean why am I here? I told you guys May called me and—”

“May did Call you and you took him home but why are you here?! You know Camilo is in this trip!” You exclaimed.

“No, I didn't. In fact, if May never messaged me, I wouldn't have known you guys are in a trip. Without Me! Do you know how that feels?! And what? You want me to back home when I just arrived here?!” He yelled.

You rarely see him this angry. You knew he really felt left out.

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell. I just..... I know you just want to spend time with Camilo but that doesn't mean you and your friends have to act like I don't exist.” Carlos added.

Camilo then Came out of nowhere, looking at you both.

You sighed. “Are you okay mi Amor?” Camilo asked.

“Yes, yes, I'm fine just....” You looked at Carlos, “Can.... Carlos stay?” You asked.

Camilo looked at Carlos as Carlos tries to avoid his gaze. “No...problem.”

Carlos looked at Camilo who gave him a smile. He gave his hand to Carlos as a sign for a hand shake. “I'm sorry if we started on the wrong foot. I get it that you kind of hate me for giving Y/n conditions for me to talk to her which is avoiding you.”

Camilo scoffed, “That was selfish of me. Bottom line is I want to fix our relationship, as friends. I don't want any fire between us and also for Y/n's sake. Please?” Camilo asked.

Carlos then thought for a second and then gave Camilo his hand, “Amigo.” Carlos smiled.

Then they both looked back you who was all smiles and Rainbows. They laughed.
