It was around afternoon when the gang decided to stop over a gas station to refill the gas and take a toilet break but since you were asleep, you didn't know.
Camilo went to the restroom. It gave the girls a chance to talk about stuff.
“Okay so Here's the Plan. Since I already parked the Car, once Camilo returns, Me, May and Abby and Jeremy will got out to the restroom at the same time leaving Camilo and Y/n, understood?” Janice whispered as the girls agreed.
“And why are we doing this again?” Jeremy asked in a low voice.
“Because, we're trying to bring them back together! Duh!” Abby answered.
“And also to make this Trip less awkward as possible for them two.” May Added.
“Sheesh, you guys are really shipping them hard.” Jeremy said as he went out the Car and went to the restroom crossing paths with Camilo who just about to return.
The girls also rushed towards the restroom, “Hey w-wait! What about—?” Camilo exclaimed.
“Just watch over her!” Abby winked as she went in with the others.
Camilo didn't have any choice but to wait for them. Minutes had passed but they still haven't returned. Because of Boredom, He glared at the Pretty Face as you sleep by the door.
“Hmm, She came by the house the other day. Maybe she just wanted to talk things out. I never intended to be rude to her the last time we spoke but my anger got me. To be honest, I wasn't really avoiding her. I'm just ... Trying to think things out before I talk to her. To my surprise, Janice already made her move to help me but in a more likely unexpected situation.”
All of a sudden Camilo stared at your lips unconsciously as if he's been wanting to kiss you. He got closer and closer to you until you opened your eyes in shock on how close he was to you. More like a few inches apart.
“Wha—Camilo?! What are you doing?!” You exclaimed as he quickly moves away from you.
“Wha— N-nothing! Just .... Checking how long you've been asleep! Nothing perverted, I swear!” Camilo yelled.
Those were lies. He did want to hold you and kiss you.
You then both stared at the opposite windows as awkward silence surrounds you both.
“Uhmm...” Camilo stopped. “I'm sorry if I didn't came to see you the day you came by Jasper's.” Camilo added.
You groaned, “It.... wasn't your fault. You've got every right to be mad and avoid me since I raised my voice at you at school. Sorry.” You apologized back.
“And also, I'm not.... hanging out with Carlos. I already told him about the situation and he agreed to it. But I told him to talk to talk to you soon.” You added.
“Oh...I see.” Camilo replied. “Does that mean we're okay now?” He added.
“I Don't know. Well, that depends on you.” You turned to him with a slight smile. It's been a while since Camilo last see those.
“I guess, we're okay. Hermosa.” He said as he winked at you.
“Oh my God, Camilo.” You two laughed out.
“Hey Guys! Looks like someone's back together!” Abby teased as they got back for the restroom.
“Fyi, we never broke up.” You answered.
“Just a mere argument.” Camilo added.
“Agh, whatever. This is getting way to cheesy! Let's go! Let's go!” May exclaimed.
The others rode back inside and drove away.
