A/N: There's a lot of POV switches in this. Also I'm sorry for the not so great chapter, there wasn't much that happened, I just couldn't come up with ideas but uhhh, enjoy! ♡

- Dylan POV -
I stared down at my phone, waiting for a text from Ryan, but nothing ever showed up. I sighed and carried my empty bowl to the dish washer.
"Dylan? What's on your mind?" My mother looked at me from her spot on the couch.
"Ryan hasn't texted me since... yesterday."
"Oh hun, I'm sure he'll come around. He probably just feels bad."
"Yeah.. uh, sure. Yeah..."
"Why don't you go out and take a walk, get your mind off everything? I heard a new coffee shop opened by the park."
"Oh yeah! I heard about that place. Thanks mom, good suggestion." I put my phone in my pocket and walked towards the door.
"Bye Dylan!"
"Bye mom." I smiled and walked out of the door, locking it behind me.
Today was going to be a good day. Nothing was going to stop me from cheering myself up. I pulled out my phone and started texting Kaitlyn about the new coffee shop.
Dylan: New coffee shop by my house just opened
Kaitlyn: Damn it, I'd be there but I got grounded
Dylan: wtf? Why?
Kaitlyn: One, my parents found out I drank. Two, I got home a few minutes after curfew. Boo Hoo.
Dylan: Man, that sucks.
I was about to text another message when a familiar voice caught my attention. Ryan.

- Ryan POV -
"Hey..." I waved towards Dylan as he slowly peered up from his phone. His bright smile quickly turned into a frown.
"Oh.. hello." He took a step backwards.
"Did Kaitlyn tell you the story?"
"Yeah, uh... yeah... she did."
"Mhhhm. Well, what do you say? Are we... alright... now?"
Dylan stared at the ground, it seemed like he was too scared to look at me. Probably picturing yesterday all over again.
"...Yeah, we're alright now... I'm sorry for misunderstanding."
"Dylan, there is nothing to be sorry for."
I walked up to Dylan and held his hand, he flinched at the sudden touch. Dylan looked up a bit from the ground and his gaze met my eyes.
Dylan's bottom lip was trembling, he looked like he was holding back tears. I grasped Dylan into a hug.
He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and let go of a breath he had been holding.
I was hoping Dylan could trust me, even though I didn't do anything wrong, I could understand how trust would be hard to mend.
We sat together in each other's embrace for a few minutes. Dylan never let go, and neither did I. It felt nice to be together again.
"Thank you Ryan, for pushing the girl away, and not cheating on me..." Dylan mumbled, his face was shoved into my neck.
"Of course. I would never try to hurt you in any way, Dyl, you know that."
"Hey.. Ryan, want to go get some drinks and head off to the park?" Dylan steps away from the hug and points to the new coffee shop behind me.
