Chapter 9 The 57th Expedition Part 1 The Female Titan

Those bells mean it's time to head out . Who knows what Reiner would have done to me this time . I got on my horse and headed to my position which was near the mid-rear , so we went a bit earlier then those positioned in the very back . Those in the front would probably be taken out first . But those in the back could be picked off by stragglers .

Reiner was still with me so I was a little worried . We grabbed the spare horses . And we were on our way out of the wall . We left Wall Rose . We ride through an abandoned town filled with titans . We then disperse into the formation . I'm in Row 2-5 signaling . I see red smoke . It's our job to signal . But then I see Armin on the ground . And Annie is ahead . Reiner lends Armin the spare horse . Armin then starts saying how it's not an abnormal but it's like Eren . A human controlling a titan body . It's true .

Armin try's to fire a flare but Jean covers him and joins us . " Pull your hood all the way over so it covers you . She won't try to kill you if she can't see your face . If she's looking for someone specific she won't blow us down unless she knows for sure we're not them . " Armin says . " Great idea Armin ! " I say .

We ride forward and Annie knocks Armin off his horse . Jean goes in for the kill but can't . " Jean ! Don't let that suicidal maniac die in vain ! " Armin yells . Annie paused . " She did it ! She's the one who killed him ! I told him the right wing was suicide but he went along anyway ! And now he's dead thanks to her ! " Armin yells again . Jean gets away . Oh , I see what you're doing Armin . " She crushed my best friend I saw it with my own eyes ! His entrails were stuck to the bottom of her foot ! " He said .

Reiner goes for the nape even though I know he won't kill Annie . Annie catches him and starts squeezing him . Reiner stays in her palm for a second and then cuts out . Annie stares at her palm for a second and then starts heading towards the center rank . I think she's heading for Eren . The four of us take the opportunity to get away from Annie .

Jeans horse ran away and the spare horse I had got crushed . The only horses we had were Cookie and Dust . But there were four of us . We fired a signal . " Somebody answered the call ! Hell yes ! They've got two horses in tow ! Woah that's ... It's Krista ! " One of the horses was Jeans runaway . They were all looking at her as if they had seen a goddess . We see green smoke . We aren't leaving . We're just changing course .

And it looks like we're heading towards a ... forest ?
