Chapter 2 Paradis The Island Of Devils

( 3rd POV ) It has been five years since your first day of Warrior training , and since you met Bertholdt Hoover . You were now ten and the others were twelve . You had just inherited your titans and were soon going to be going to Paradis Island .

You were taught that only Eldian Devils inhabited the island but you were an Eldian so wouldn't that make you just as bad ? Or them no different from you ? You weren't sure , you were just happy to be going with Bertholdt .

( Y/N POV ) Today is the day we are going to Paradis and I'm scared , what if something bad happens . What if something happens to me or my friends especially Bertholdt .

We had all become great friends over the past five years . I was the closest to Bertholdt and Reiner , but it made me feel special that I was the only one Annie would talk to .

I knew that Bertholdt had a crush on Annie and I can't say I didn't envy her . Or , I thought he had a crush on Annie .

( Bertholdt POV ) I had spent most of the boat ride looking at the ocean and Y/N , but a tap on my shoulder interrupted me from looking at her .
" Hey Bert ? " I realized the voice belonged to my best friend , Reiner . " Yeah Reiner ? " I said , slightly annoyed but not showing it .

" You've been staring at Y/N almost the whole time , and you said you didn't like her . " Reiner said with a smirk . I do like her . Hell , I love her more than anything , is what I wanted to say . " I don't like her and I haven't been staring at her ! " I knew it was a lie and even though it wasn't true , saying that hurt me .

" Jeez ! No need to get all defensive Bert ! " Reiner said while laughing . " Yeah whatever Reiner . "

( Y/N POV ) I had woken up to Annie telling me something , but I wasn't sure what she said . " Five more minutes . " I said in a sleepy tone .
" Y/N get your ass up . We're here . " Annie said in her usual voice .

I shot up and looked around . Seeing that Reiner was still asleep , and Bertholdt and Marcel had just woken up as well . The captain telling us to grab our bags scared Reiner out of his slumber . We got our bags , saddled up our horses , and began our journey .

It has been two days and Marcel has just told Reiner why he was the Armored Titan and not Porco .

Suddenly a small Titan between four and five meters appeared behind Reiner .

Next thing I knew , Marcel was eaten . We stood there for a second before adrenalin and fear kicked in and we ran for our lives .

After we were done running , Annie started yelling at Reiner and then she proceeded to kick him in the face over and over .

When she was done Reiner got up , started choking her and then said ,
" Reiner is dead . If we need Marcel , then he's who I'll be . " That scared me almost as much as watching my friend get eaten .

I was crying and saw Bertholdt was to . Annie then passed out . Bertholdt and Reiner told me to look after Annie as they broke the wall . I then carried Annie through the crowd of people to one of the boats . And we were off to a refugee camp , where we would hopefully find the boys .

Annie and I arrived at the camp where I heard a familiar voice .
" Y/N ! Over here ! " I looked towards where the voice was coming from and saw Reiner and Bertholdt . A wave of relief and dizziness passed over me . I was tired from carrying Annie around all day as she was still knocked out cold .

" Hey guys . " I said . " Y/N are you alright you don't look so good ? " Bertholdt asked me worriedly . " Yeah I'm fine , just a little tired . " I said as I set Annie down on a blanket . I then sat down next to Bertholdt , put my head on his shoulder and fell asleep .

The next day I woke up beside Annie . I didn't remember anything from yesterday after I met up with Reiner and Bert at the Refugee camp . Did I pass out ?

" Hey Bert ? What happened yesterday ? " I asked the boy who was also next to me . " You seemed to be really tired and you fell asleep as soon as you sat down . " He said .

Oh my GOD ! His bedhead is adorable ! His bangs are off his forehead ! " You look ad- ! " I stopped myself immediately . I almost called him adorable . I mean he is , but .

" I look a ? " Oh my gosh , what do I say !? " You look like you might need a brush ! In case you wanted to fix your bangs ! Do you want to use mine ? " I said , a lot faster than I wanted to .
" Oh um , sure . Thanks Y/N ! " He said with the cutest smile ever !

Reiner smirked , and all I could do was pray he wouldn't say anything crazy . " Hey Y/N , Bert , go and get some food for the four of us while me and Annie try to find some work for us to do . " Oh how I wanted to wipe that smirk right off his dumb ass face . " Sure . " Bertholdt and I said in unison .

The walk was silent , but it was a comfortable silence . Right before we entered a large crowd , Bertholdt stopped walking and turned to me . " Hey Y/N . There's a lot of people over there so I , " He paused and quickly said " Do you want to h-hold my hand ?! I mean , I know you don't like big crowds ! "

It was adorable ! And I know my face was probably just as red as his !
" Y-you don't have to do that if you don't want " He cut me off and looked at me with something on his face . Something like , determination .

" I do want to hold your hand ! " I smiled and without another word I took his hand and we walked through the people . Even when there were no more people we didn't let go , not until we got back to Annie and Reiner .
