The next morning I found myself alone in my room. My back ached, my head was spinning, and my hand practically pulsated like sharp little needles whenever I tried to move it. Groaning I glanced down at the white mess of cloth that was wrapped around the wound. I probably sat in my bed like that for a solid 5 minutes and just let myself debate about whether or not I really had to get up.
In the end I realized it'd be best if I did go through with the whole waking up process and heaved my tired form into a sitting position on my bed. Stealing a glance around my room as I swung my legs over the side of the bed. The interior of the small room being one that I wasn't necessarily used to.
Which is considering the fact that I typically ended up sleeping in Yunho's quarters due to my clumsy ass. Or the fact that when I do sleep in here I just get up and get out. Not really ever having the chance to take my time in the morning because breakfast is a must, or I have some sort of job that requires me to be up before anyone else.
Yet, from the absence of knockedge at my door I'm guessing from my little performance yesterday no one wants to bother me. I knew they probably meant for me to rest, yet I couldn't bring myself to sit in a small room for hours. So I threw myself off of my bed and pulled my form over to the edge of my bed where my boots sat on the ground. Tying them quickly around my feet I took the chance to glance around the room and see what was inside.
It was small. It had a bunch of mix matched pieces of furniture, that were no doubt stolen from a village or town in a raid of sorts. They were beautiful pieces, but they just didn't go together, they weren't each other's matches. Yet, in an odd way they were. It almost would have been weird if they were all from the same set.
The dresser in the corner reminded me of my father's study. With the dark oak and spiral designs that made it look old and rustic. The bed was tiny and reminded me of the bed I had when I was younger. A lighter wood with little to no design, making it look homemade. Something that someone made for someone because they were too stubborn to just go out and buy one themselves.
Then there was the mirror. A long nice piece of glass that sat in the corner of the room alone. Just watching everything I do from the side and giving me pieces of judgement on what I look like every now and again. And as I brought myself to stand in front of it I found myself taking note of how ragged my clothing was starting to look.
My white top was dirty, with stains almost everywhere you look, and some parts of it were still slightly damp from the day prior to this. I patted down my clothes with my hand and tried to fix the rats nest that had become my hair. It was fairly easy to tame, and I was able to make it look decent and as I came to rest on my reflection my eyes pierced my own with a knowing look.
So with a steady sigh I dusted off what dirt I could and started for the door. Being sure to grab the same dagger from before as I placed it back on my belt. Then off I went into the hallway. I was going to head off to Yunho's room first, mostly because I can tolerate him the easiest, and he was probably the only one that could explain to me if what I saw last night was real. At least someone who wouldn't yell at me for it.
His room was a long bit away from my quarters so I had to walk through multiple groups of men that made me wish I was allowed a gun on board. When I was about halfway there I was stopped by a group of men who obviously had a rough night. The atmosphere around him practically screamed HELPLESS with the alcohol radiating off him particularly. There were a few other men around them, all of them men I didn't particularly recognize from my time on deck. SO I gave them a quick smile before trying to hurry past them.
"Hey there's the girl everybodys talking about!" One of them slushed as he hung onto the other.
I tried to just shoot them another short smile and wave before trying to move away from them but one reached out and grabbed my hand. "Yah! We weren't done talking to you yet." the other male exclaimed as he tried pulling me closer into his chest.
