"I swear, I'm gonna spike both of their drinks." You muttered to yourself as you laid down in bed, scrolling through your phone.
The sleepover has been fun so far, despite Popping Candy and Cherry Ball taking every opportunity they could to set you and Choco Ball up. Now, they were at the final attempt.
See, Popping Candy's apartment had only one bedroom with one bed. Two people could fit in it, although it would be a bit small. Knowing this, you had a good idea of who would be the ones sleeping there tonight.
Still, even though Choco Ball said you could just go to sleep while he got ready for bed, you really didn't feel all that tired.
Well, you were tired of Popping Candy and Cherry Ball, but that didn't count.
Scrolling through your phone, you found yourself rereading a convo between you and Choco Ball. One you had the day after the national dance competition, and you couldn't help but blush a bit.

Y/n: Alright, we're on the bus now. I'll be able to talk more!
Choco Ball: Awesome! How did it go?
Y/n: Really good! We didn't win, but we came in 3rd!
Choco Ball: Congrats! I think you should've won tho.
Y/n: You haven't even seen the other groups yet XD
Choco Ball: Actually, Cherry Ball and I watched them earlier. You totally should've gotten the gold.
Y/n: But all the other groups we so good as well! A 3rd is pretty impressive considering the other performances.
Choco Ball: I don't know, you guys were the best in my eyes. Isn't that what matters? 😉
Y/n: >/////<

Choco Ball: Yep, been told that before. But I really can't help it sometimes.

Choco Ball: Then it's working.

"Y/n?" You heard a familiar voice say. You turned your head slightly to see Choco Ball, making his way to get in bed next to you. "You still awake?"
"Um, yeah!" You said, turning off your phone quickly. You were way too embarrassed to let Choco Ball see you were reading your past texts with each other. Would he think it was weird, or would he think you were creepily obsessed with him? You really didn't want to ruin your relationship with him now that it was just starting to get off the ground.
"Hey, look. I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable back there. Both Popping and Cherry Ball were really persistent in daring me to do it and, I ended up getting carried away."
"Choco Ball, it's fine. I wasn't really uncomfortable, mostly just caught by surprise. But I swear I'm gonna make those two pay tenfold for everything that's been happening tonight."
"I understand that. First it was the dare, then they kept trying to get us alone together, and now they're making us sleep together. Kinda feels like they're going a bit too far."
"A bit too far?! I think they're trying to kill me!"
"Hmp, you're cute face says it all."
As Choco Ball said that, he turned to you and held his hand under your chin, making you blush wildly once again.
"A-ah, I'm sorry. I got carried away again didn't I?" Choco Ball said as he pulled his hand away.
"N-no, it's ok. I actually kinda like it..."
"Hmm, so you wouldn't mind this?"
Choco Ball wrapped his arm around you and pulled you in closer. Almost instinctively, you let you hands press up against his chest. It felt so warm up against him, you hoped neither of you would ever let go.
"Heh, I'm starting to understand why I love to tease you so much." Choco Ball said softly. "Your reactions are always so cute."
"E-ehh?!" You exclaimed, just as soft. "Y-you really think I'm cute?"
"Of course, I don't know how anyone can't see it."
Through your blushing, you looked up at Choco Ball's face. He was giving you a soft smile, but his bright eyes were laced with a hint of melancholy. You wondered what it could be, but didn't press him for it.
Instead, you cuddled up further and let your eyes close. You couldn't help but smile as you felt yourself start to fall asleep.
