"You did so well Y/n!" Popping Candy said for about the tenth time tonight as he took a piece of fried chicken. You, him, Cherry Ball, and Choco Ball had decided to eat at a local restaurant after the show, and the food was amazing.
"Th-thanks Popping." You replied. "Although, you don't have to keep saying it."
"But he's not wrong, you really were amazing." Choco Ball told you as he gave you a smile. Your cheeks turned pink, him complimenting you still felt like a dream whenever it happened. It just felt too good to be true...
You saw Popping Candy and Cherry Ball give each other sneaky glances when you blushed. If you weren't currently in a busy area, you would slug them both in the stomach. But instead, you took some large portions of untouched meat from their plates and put them on your own.
"Hey!" Cherry Ball exclaimed. "Now that's just uncalled for!"
"So is trying to make me die of heart attack, Won't Trust Her With My Food." You replied, taking a bite of one of the stolen slabs of meat.
Cherry Ball pouted, but soon broke out into laughter. You mocked an annoyed sigh, but ultimately joined in. Popping Candy and Choco Ball started up too, and soon enough all four of you were laughing together.
Now that none of you would have any major events for a while, it was the perfect time to really kick back, relax, and hang out together before the end of the quarter. Besides, there was no telling what the future might have in store for the four of you.
"Do you guys have any plans after this?" Popping Candy asked once everyone had calmed down from laughing. "I really wanna hang out with you guys some more."
"That sounds good, I'm in!" You replied, putting some more food in your mouth.
"Same with me, I'm free." Choco Ball added.
"Me three! So it's settled then!" Cherry Ball exclaimed. "So, where should we go?"
"Hmm, maybe the karaoke place nearby?"
"That sounds fun, why don't we do that?"
"Sounds good to me!"
[After eating, on the way to the karaoke place]
"Come on! Last one there's a rotten egg!" Popping Candy exclaimed, starting to run through the streets.
"No fair! Wait up!" Cherry Ball replied, quickly going after him, leaving you and Choco Ball alone together once again.
"Y/n," Choco Ball said after a few moments of silence. "Thanks for inviting me. You were amazing up there."
"A-ah. Thank you, it's only fair since you invited me to your soccer game a few months ago." You replied, getting a bit flustered.
"Hey, wasn't that my thanks for inviting me to the dance competition?"
"Oh right, it was wasn't it?"
"Haha, but seriously, thank you for that Y/n. If you didn't do that, I'm not sure we would ever become friends."
Choco Ball stopped in his tracks, causing you to stop too. You looked back at him, and he seemed to be lost in thought. But soon enough, a determined look crossed his face as he took a deep breath.
"Y/n. I think, I think I've fallen for you."
"E-eh?!?!" You exclaimed, blushing hard.
"Yep. To be honest, I've had a crush on you for quite a bit now, but I wanted to make sure these feelings wouldn't fade away." Choco Ball wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer. "But now that we've been hanging out for a while, I don't think it will anytime soon. If anything, it's only gotten stronger."
"A-ah. Well, I don't think I need to tell you that I've also had a crush on you for a while."
"I know, but it's still nice to hear it."
You giggled a bit, looking right up at Choco Ball's face. The night sky above him was beautiful, but it paled in comparison to his bright blue eyes filled with affection. A light blush brushed Choco Ball's cheek as he leaned in. Closing your eyes, you leaned into him as well, letting you two share a passionate kiss. Your heart was pounding. Your first kiss, and it was with your crush...
If this was all a dream, you didn't want to wake up.
