𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮

chapter 4

After a night of overthinking, you woke up feeling like a trash. After breakfast and a quick phone with your mom, you received a call from an unknown number. You hesitated at first but answered it. "You have a week." A deep voice from the other side of the line said. You only heard that line in movies. You knew what it meant. "Who is this?" You asked, your voice was shaking. "We have her." He said. Your brain freeze. Who does he has? As you were about to ask who he was referring to you heard a girl scream in the background. It sounded familiar. Very familiar in fact. "Why don't you find out yourself?" You gave no answer. He said where you must come, the time and hung up.

The first thing you could do was to talk to Bucky about it. No matter how much you hate him, you needed his help right now.
You had 2 options who's scream that was. Your mom's or Wanda's. The sound was much young and high so you were pretty sure it was Wanda.

Tears were rolling down your fluffed cheeks as you rushed to Bucky's room. You entered the room without knocking. He looked up to you, he was clearly annoyed. You sniffed and tried to silence your cries. He quickly got up and walked towards you. "Hey hey what happened?" He furrowed his brows. You sniffed again. "I- Wanda!" You couldn't form a sentence. You were feeling dizzy. Bucky turned around and poured you a cup of water. He gently placed his hand on your arm and led you to his leather couch. He motioned for you to sit and you did. He gave you the cup and your shaky hands took it and you took a sip. "Now talk to me. What happened?" You sighed. "I received a call not long ago, they told me the place and time and said that I must be there. Also they said that "we have her" and when I asked who they just made me listen to a girl's scream. And I think it's my bestfriend Wanda. Bucky we need to do something!" By the time you were finished talking, you were sobbing. He nodded. We must put the hate aside and work together he thought to himself. He asked you the place and time they told you and you told him. He wrote it down in a black notebook. You could see other addresses and names and most of them were scrambled over. It must be the notebook where he writes his enemies names and finishes them...

"I will go there and free her ok?" You looked at him. "Hey I'm coming too!" You said. "No I'm not letting you get hurt." He said. "I won't. I know how to protect myself plus how do you know it's gonna be dangerous?" "Because when things like this aren't dangerous. I promised to protect you so i will keep my word." "I will go there!" You said teary eyed and left the room. Bucky sighed. He knew this fight had no point. If you said you'll go, you will.

As you were about to go to your room you got a phone call. Your hands shook as you took the phone. You let out a sigh of relief when you saw it was Michael. You answered but before you could say something his voice came and his tone almost frightened you. "Why didn't you tell me?!" He was clearly angry at you because of something. "What are you talking about?" You asked. "I got a phone call. They told me that they have someone and they already called you. You should've told me quickly!" He scolded you. You now understood what he was talking about and replied with "I-I didn't know what to do at the moment and only thing I could was to tell Bucky about it. I'm sorry." You heard him sigh. "Ok so do you know who they have?" "No but they told me where I must go and when." You told him the date and the place and he told you that he'll be there too.

You were pretty sure that it was Wanda that they had so you saw no point of trying to call her. You though involving police in this but then again you had the guys to deal with whoever he is. You knew you can't do anything by yourself, you knew that you can't save her and that fact was taking over your brain and making you hate yourself more than you already do.

Today is 3rd of September and the date they told you was 5th of September, midday. You couldn't just sit and wait 2 more days when Wanda was literally was suffering there. Maybe it wasn't even Wanda but the last phone call and that very familiar scream put together made some sense and it was making you think it was her. Maybe it really is her there. But even if it isn't her it means it's someone you know because then why would they call you?

You went to Bucky to say that you can't wait 2 more days and you hoped that he won't reject your wish to save her very soon. You knocked on his office door and after hearing a "come in" you entered the room. "Is everything ok?" He asked a little worriedly. You just nodded 'yes' and took a deep breath in and began to tell him that you can't wait to more days to save her. Bucky put down the paper he was holding and let out a sharp sigh. "I don't know Y/N." He gave you the answer you expected for him to give. "Please Bucky I can't let her suffer there, please Michael will come too." You begged. He took a second to think about it. He looked at you and you looked like you were about to break down once more. "Ok ok we will go as soon as we can and you call Michael or whatever his name is to come here so we can leave when I can, I'll tell Steve to come with us." He said with a quick nod. "Thank you Bucky. I'll inform Michael then." With that you left the room to get your phone.

After telling Michael about it he was there 10 minutes later. And Steve arrived not so long after him. You were nervous as hell but Michael was there to comfort you and all you wanted right now was for Wanda or whoever that was kidnapped to be back home safely.
