" Sid, I am very sorry..." Abhishek had a guilty and apologetic look.

" You should be! How embarrassing was that!" Siddharth was cross. They were in a forest clearing. Siddharth had sulked long enough, and Neha wanted them to have a good talk, sort things, and get back together, like before... So, she had send them to a wildlife park.

" I honestly don't remember what I did, but, I guess I messed up big time.... It's been a week, and you still don't flirt with me at all! And on the first day, none of our friends seemed to be able to look at properly! What.... What did I do?" Abhishek asked, trying to sound as meek as possible.

" You.... You tried to make out with me...." Siddharth's voice trailed off, and his cheeks were heating up. Abhishek was filled with remorse. Had he... Had he tried to molest, to hurt the love of his life? That was too much for him. His eyes welled up, and his hands were trembling.

One look at him, Siddharth understood what was going on in his head. The tears made him worry a bit. " No Abhishek... That was not entirely non consensual.." He said, wiping away a stray tear that ran down Abhishek's face. Abhishek looked at him expectantly " Then, you wanted it? Is it that we were too loud or anything? Please tell me!"

Siddharth looked into Abhishek's eyes, after quite a few days. He did not know exactly where they were... They had strayed from the set forest path at some point, and now were somewhere in the actual forest. They were walking along, not less than four feet apart from each other.

" Well, you tried that in the damned living room! Our friends were all watching, and equally embarrassed.. Even Siddhi had to see that! What do you think I felt, when you pinned me on the couch, and your lips wandered freely on my body, with my sister watching?" Siddharth spoke, venting out the embarrassment he felt. He had never felt so embarrassed in his entire life.

Abhishek was silent, reflecting over his mistakes. He looked so sad and lost, which made Siddharth want to lighten the mood. He said " Abhishek... The thing is, I have no problem with public displays of affection, to a certain extent. But, when there are people watching, we should not get things heated up. And, I would like us to make out in private, when the apartment is 'empty'..."  He smiled, finally

" Does that mean, you forgive me??" Abhishek sounded so pitiful. Siddharth closed the distance between them and hugged his boyfriend. " Yes, you silly man! It was the alcohol all along. I know you too well, to think that you would stoop so low in real.." Abhishek smiled and relaxed into the hug. " Then, I will apologise to the others, especially to Siddhi when we go back. And, how do you plan to 'empty' the apartment, Sid?"

Siddharth broke the hug, and stared into Abhishek's eyes once again. His hands cupped Abhishek's face, and there was a smirk on his face " Let's send all of them out, perhaps for a movie? Then, if you wish, we can do it on the couch...." Siddharth placed a soft kiss on Abhishek's lips. Abhishek blushed immediately, but he liked the idea. Maybe they could try that later....

They walked on and on, clasping each others hands. They did not know where the path would lead them, but honestly that did not seem to matter much now... They were together, and happy, and that is what mattered...

Soon, they came across a sort of campfire, well, it should have been one, last night. The campfire was surprisingly still burning, and some tents had been pitched around it. Apparently, some adventurous gang had dared to venture deep into the forest and set up camp there. But, there was no one there at present. Abhishek's face broke into a grin, from which Siddharth deduced that he was getting ideas

" Sweetheart, will you marry me, now?" Abhishek asked, clutching Siddharth's hand tighter. Siddharth was taken aback by that unexpected question.

" Umm, I would like to marry you, but, here? How?" Siddharth asked, still shocked.
