I was at work today, I was in the middle of reading up on a new case when my door swings open, causing me to look up, seeing brandy walking up to me. She sat in front of my desk and stared at me.
Toni: "what?"
Brandy: "no what is going on with you?"
Toni: "excuse me?"
Brandy: "Toni you're my friend... my only friend and you've been distant and been acting different towards everyone"
Toni: "brandy we can talk later now please leave"
Brandy: "no not until you answer me first"
Toni: "I don't have to explain anything to you"
Brandy: "Toni"
I I took my reading glasses off that I was wearing and sat them down on my desk and crossed my legs as I continued to stare at her.
Brandy: "what's going on with you and Jada?"
Toni: "nothing"
Brandy: "you never lied to me"
Toni: "Brandy please leave my office"
Brandy: "you use to not like jada but you two have been close... very close"
Toni: "there's nothing going on... I've just been" *gets cut off by brandy*
Brandy: "are y'all fucking?"
I didn't say anything and brandy opens her mouth to say something but nothing came out.
Toni: "can you go now"
Brandy: "b-but um... *clears throat* what about Janet?"
Once I heard that name, I feel my heart drop then my eyes began to water. Brandy got up and walked over to me and hugged me.
Toni: "Brandy I never wanted to hurt her... again"
Brandy: "but?"
Toni: "Brandy... when jada found out me and Janet were back together, she threatened to tell Janet what happened years ago"
Brandy: "you really letting her threaten you about what happens years back!?" *puts her palm on her forehead*
Toni: "you don't understand"
Brandy: "it doesn't matter if I do or don't, but what matter is... is Janet going to"
Toni: "you can't tell her !"
Brandy: "I'm not, you are and that woman is stressing about you... of all people, you cheat on Janet with Jada... like really"
I could tell that Brandy was also stressed. All I wanted was for everything to go back normal.
