Yesterday I met up with Brandy lastnight after Jermaine and his friends tried to force me to have sex with them. I got tired of it so I got all me and Amandas things and left with Brandy. I don't understand why she brought us here... to Toni's. Somewhere I wouldn't want to be, well definitely not being seen like this.
Brandy told me that Toni was working on my case which I couldn't believe, and she could help us. When Brandy left, Toni gave me and Amanda each a guest room and went to hers without even saying a word to me. Until this morning, when me and Amanda was walking down the stairs, I noticed Toni in the kitchen.
Toni: "I made pancakes"
I watched as a smile appeared on Amandas face as she made her way over to the table and Toni sat the plate in front of her. I didn't want Amanda getting attached to Toni and end up getting hurt like I did years ago. I sat on the couch and pulled out my phone, noticing I had a messages from my boss at the strip club.

Toni: "i got Amanda"
I lock my phone as I look up and see Toni standing over me.
Janet: "huh?"
Toni: "I'll drop Amanda off at school" *her eyes goes from my phone to my face*
Janet: "no no it's okay"
As I was putting my phone in my back pocket, Toni looks over at Amanda before looking down at me again.
Toni: "I have to drive pass her school on my way to work anyways so I don't mind"
Before I could say anything to Toni, Amanda comes over and hugs me tightly.
Amanda: "I love you"
I noticed lip gloss on her lips and I couldn't help but give her a look.
Janet: "what is that on your lips ma'am?"
Amanda: "miss Toni gave me some"
Amanda kissed her mother on the cheek before running out the house before her mom could get on her.
Janet: "to-"
Toni: "if you need anything or get hungry, there is money on the table"
Toni gave Janet another quick glance before she walked out and disappeared on the other side of the the door. While Janet had the house to herself, she took a shower and laid around and watched television.
