Katherine didn't take the cure instead she got staked in the fight with Elena by Damon. During the fight Elena got the cure instead of Katherine. Elena choose Damon and they were some time together but Elena couldn't forget how He almost killed Bonn...

Marcel throw her one and opend one himself. Marcel sat down and chose to listen. She drunk the beer empty in one shot being done with all of the supernatrual crap she and Elena got trapped in.
"So tell me how does it happen that a wonderfull woman like you ends up as Klaus friend?"He was curious. "I? A friend of Klaus? Does he even have friends?"She asked feeling a bit dizzy from the alcohol. Marcel loughed. "No it just happens that my best friend is stuck with Klaus and I am still working on not killing him."She admited. Marcel loughed and Bonnie smiled. "How come you friend is stuck with him?"He asked. "Well short vision my best friend is the doppelganger ,Elijah came to town wanting to kill Klaus,a witch with the power of channelize 100 Witches would do it, he wanted to take Elena, they made a deal, but I didn't like the deal, my best friend Damon screwed up tried to dagger him through Alaric failed, Elena had to dagger him which she regretes still but she had to, to save Stefans ass, her boyfriend ,than Klaus came to town I got acces of the hundred witches, he killed me, but I got a protection spell so, than Elena undaggerd Elijah, we made a deal with Elijah to kill Klaus, Klaus got his sacrfice but used Elena's aunt as a vampire , I almost killed him back then but Elijah screwed us and left with him, he got daggerd by Klaus,than we discoverd Damon had a werwolf bite, we found out Klaus blood is the cure, Stefan made a deal with Klaus they were friends back in the 20's ,than all of the Mikaelson's got undaggerd, my mother was turned from a witch Into a Vampire cause that was the only way the Originals would survive,Kol tried to kill me, My Ex Jeremy killed him and the rest of the story is pretty much that I stopped Klauses cold dead heart I was surprised he even had one oh and I died bringing back my cheating Ex's ass, any questions."She joked at the ending. "Damn girl"He commented, that was more complicated than he thought. "That is just the part of story when he came into my life, before that I was the town witch and got almost killed by my now best friend and Lost my grandmother that was like a mother to me during a powerfull spell."She added. Her second beer bottel was now empty. She felt sadness when she thought about her grams. "Well that was pretty much it."She didn't want to talk about it.

"We used a dark objekt I got from my grams to transfer the baby in another body, but it had to be a blood connection present and his sister Rebekah wasn't in town , then we realized the doppelganger has a blood conection with Klaus, cause the blood of her activated his wolfside and not to forget that the blood of a doppelganger finished his transation, so we put the baby in her body."She finished the story.
"So the doppelganger is the new mother of Klaus child?"He wanted to make sure he heared right "Yes Elena is the new mother of the child and she loves the baby as her own and I don't want my best friend in a war. Neither a innocent baby. Her baby."She explained. "You amaze me Bonnie Bennet."Marcel never met a girl like Bonnie and he wouldn't let her go so easily. "Will you hit the war on pause?"Bonnie wanted to know, her friend and her baby will be safe. "I can't."Marcels hatred ruined it. Bonnie stood up.
"Then I won't either." Even if there was something going on between her and Marcel, friends are coming first, especially Elena.
"Does that make us enemys now?"Marcel asked, he didn't want Bonnie to be his enemy. "If something will happen to Elena or her baby you and everybody in this city will burn."Bonnie threatend and left.
