16. i will try to fix you

A few days later.

Julie's pov.
It's my first day back to school. I walk downstairs to eat breakfast with the guys.
"It's gonna be so strange not having you around here 24/7 again." Dad says and gives me a Omelette.
"But I'm glad you can go back. Just call if something happens okay? And take it slow and tell someone if you don't feel good okay!" Dad says and I nod.
"Yes Dad" I say and take a bite of my breakfast.
"And i pick you up after school for doctors visit" he reminds me.
"Okay papa" I sigh and get up.
"You didn't eat much. Are you sure you can go? I mean-"
"Papa! I'm just a little nervous okay. I'm fine don't worry. " I get my things and wave at the guys who've been really quiet this whole time. Flynn is already waiting for me with her new car to drive me to school.
"Helloooo weirdo!" She hugs me and starts the car.
"Hello disappointment" she giggles and we drive to school.
"Okay i have math now. I'll see you later. Text me if you need anything" she gives me a side hug and walks away. I get some books out of my locker.
"Hi Julie!" I turn around and see Nick. Oh no. Okay keep calm it's him and not Caleb. I think!
"Oh uh hi Nick" I say and close my locker.
"How are you? I heard what happend"
"Oh yeah that. I'm good thanks" I explain and he nods.
"Okay weird question but after i came to your house what did I do after that? Because i don't remember anything."
"Oh mhm i don't know you went home I think."
"Oh okay but thanks"
The schoolbell rings.
"Okay see ya" he says and walks away. I take a deep breath. That was so weird seeing him again. I walk to my class.
"Hey Julie! You okay again?" A girl asks.
"Uh yeah thanks" I say and sit down and wait for the teacher. It's weird being here again and I feel anxious and observed from the other students. I barley even listen to the teacher. I feel weird and i don't know why. After finally the class is over i rush to the toilet and take a few deep breaths. Okay Julie everything is fine you are fine. I tell myself and walk out in the hallway which is filled with students. It's so loud and the walls seem to get closer and closer. I get dizzy but continue walking as I see Nick coming behind me so I quickly walk the other direction. Okay Julie calm down! I feel like i can't breath! I find a spot where no one goes by and sit down on the floor with my head in on my knees. Oh god i have to calm down. What is wrong with me. Tears stream down my face and i feel like i can't breath. Suddenly I feel someone sitting next to me and pat my back i look up and see a girl my age.
"Okay everything is okay! Breathe with me!" And i do what she says.
"Good job!" She pats my back and I can finally breathe again. I wipe my tears away and she gives me a tissue.
"Thanks" I sniffle and clean my face.
"You better?" She asks and I nod.
"I'm Sofia I'm new here today is my first day" she shakes my hand and smiles at me.
"Julie and my first day since 4 months too" I say and sigh.
"Oh okay" she helps me get up.
"Thank you again. I don't know why that happend to be honest"
"No worries! Maybe you should see a therapist or something panic attacks are not good" she looks at the clock.
"Oh the class already started" she sighs and looks at her planner.
"Oh we are in the same class! We can walk together" I tell her and she smiles at me and we slowly walk to our class.
"Sorry" I say and we sit down.
"Why are you two late?" The teacher asks.
"She is new and i helped her find the class, she uh was lost" I explain.
"Oh okay thank you!" And she continues teaching. Sofia sits next to me and gives me a small smile. I might found a new friend today.

After class me and Sofia walk to our lockers hers is only a few lockers away from mine and after i packed my things i walk to her and she smiles at me.
"Okay your next class is in room 101 but I'll warn you the teacher is usually always in a bad mood." She giggles and nods.
"Thank you. What class do you have now?"
"I don't have class anymore. I have to go home after 4 hours of school" I explain.
"Oh so cool" she says.
"Believe me i wish i could go to school like you"
"Why?"
"It's complicated, here I'll give you my number so you can text me if you need anything" i give her a paper with my number on it and she smiles.
"Thank you Julie. Okay I'll see you tomorrow" she says and i wave for goodbye and walk outside in the parking lot where Dad is already waiting to drive me to the doctor.
"Hi mija. The doctor called and said you have to come on Wednesday. They have too many appointments and yeah" I nod and sit down.
"Oh okay" I say and we drive home.

Luke's pov.
I stand in the kitchen with the guys and we make some snacks for us to eat.
"Yes dad" I hear Julie and they walk in.
"Hey how was your first day of school?" I ask but she says nothing and walks upstairs. The guys wrinkle their foreheads and I decide to follow her. I knock on her door.
"Come in" she yells and I walk in she unpacks her backpack and i sit on her bed.
"What's wrong?" I ask and she sighs.
"Nothing just a weird day"
"Are you sure?"
"I'm fine" she sits next to me and I give her a side hug.
"I'm so proud of you" I kiss her forehead. But something is wrong with her!
