23. there's a possibility

Julie's pov.
I take some books out of my locker.
"Hey Julie" I turn around and see Carrie. Ugh.
"Hi Carrie" i close my locker and sigh.
"Nice sweater"
"What do you want?" I ask and she scoffs.
"You keep a secret"
"What are you talking about Carrie?"
"You'll see soon" she turns around and walks away. Gosh she's been like this for a while now. I see Sofia and she walks up to me.
"What's up with Carrie?" She asks and I sigh.
"She thinks i have a secret" I explain and we walk to our classroom.
"Ugh she is so annoying"
"Yep. Sofia?" I ask and she stops walking.
"Do i look you know how with this sweater?" I whisper.
"No you look cute" i smile at her and she does too.
"Don't worry Jules" she says and we continue walking to our classroom and we sit down at our table and wait for the teacher. Ugh I hate math!
"Listen everybody!" Carrie walks to the teachers desk and the class gets silent.
"I have a big announcement to make" she says. What is she doing?! I give Sofia a worried look and she looks angry at Carrie.
"Julie do you want to tell them?" She asks and I freeze.
"What are you talking about" Sofia asks.
"Oh well! Our Julie is pregnant!" She yells and I feel everybody's eyes on me. How and why did she do that!
"That's not true Carrie" I say and she laughs.
"Then take of your sweater!"
"No why!" I ask.
"Your choice" she walks back to her seat and the class starts whispering and talking about me.
"Is that true Julie?" Nick asks and I shake my head.
"It is! That's why she wears sweaters all the time!" a girl yells.
"At 17! What a shame" i hear someone whisper.
"Shut up!" Sofia yells.
I hear Carrie laugh and i turn around to look at her.
"Thank you!" I say sarcastically and watch the teacher come in.
"Class! What is going on! Sit down so we can start" she sits down.
I feel super uncomfortable the teacher starts the lesson and after a long hour I finally can go out of class and to my locker.
"Did you hear that Julie is pregnant?" I hear a group of people whisper. I can her you! Omg!
Okay let's go home. I say to myself and drive home. Finally this day is over!
As soon I'm home I open the door and run into Emily. She hugs me as she sees my wet face.
"Jules what's wrong?" She rubs my back
"The whole school knows about my pregnancy" I cry and Emily pats my back.
"How?"
"Carrie" I cry and she helps me sit down in the livingroom.
"It's going to be okay hun" she sits next to me and gives me a side hug I lay my head on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this"
I sigh and close my eyes. Life is hard and unfair to me.

The next day in school.
"I can't do this Flynn" I nervously walk up and down in the empty hallway.
"It's going to be okay. Everybody knows anyway" she trys to keep me calm. We have PE in literally 5 min but i can't get myself to walk on the sport field. Everyone is going to stare at my belly.
"You got this Jules. And I'm here for you too" she takes my hand and we walk out to the other classmates. I feel the looks on me and I don't like that. Flynn squeezes my hand and she gives me a small smile.
"Okay everbody! Let's go! Julie you can sit and watch" she says and I nod. I'm not allowed to to certain things like ball playing cause it's too dangerous for the babys. I sit down on a bench and watch everyone play. A boy my age sits next to me he walks with crutches.
"Uhh she is aggressive!" He points at a girl who threw the ball right in a boys face.
"She is" I say and he gives me a small smile.
"Are you new here?" I ask and he nods.
"My first day! I'm James from England" he shakes my hand. Oh that's why the accent.
"Julie"
"Why can't you play?" He asks and I freeze.
"Uh" i point at my belly and he wrinkles his forehead.
"And?"
"I'm pregnant" i tell him.
"Oh. OH sorry i didn't realize. You must be the girl everyone talks about" he watches the game.
"Yeah it's amazing" i say with a sarcastic tone.
"Sorry. How far?"
"13 weeks with twins. That's why you can tell or other people do" I giggle.
"Haha funny"
"What did you do?" I ask and point at his foot.
"I fell down the stairs in my new house" i laugh.
"Sorry"
"It's okay"
"Do you know the genders?" He asks and I shake my head.
"But tomorrow I'll now" I explain and he smiles.
We spend a while talking until the class is over and i was freaking out earlier for nothing. I say goodbye to Flynn and James that got to know eachother and I drive to Luke's house.
"Hey darling come in" Emily hugs me.
"Luke is already waiting for you" she say and we walk in the kitchen. Luke gives me a kiss and we sit down.
"How was school?" He asks.
"Not that bad actually! I found a new friend from England" I explain and Emily gives me cake.
"Uhhh yummy thank you Emily" she pats my head and I eat!
"How are the babies?" Luke asks and puts his and on my belly.
"Great i think!"
"Take your sweater offffff! I want to see your beautiful bump!" He gives me a puppy face and i laugh and take mine off luckily i always wear a shirt underneath.
"Agh gorgeous!" He says and puts his hand on it.
"Wow Julie it's so big already!" Emily also puts her hand on my belly.
"I know they grow fast"
"Adorable" she cleans the desk and we continue talking till it's pretty and I fall in bed exhausted but excited for tomorrow to find out the genders!
