Corruption

Ship: Spicynoodles?

Context: Mk gets corrupted by the Lady bone demon, and almost kills his friends.

(This is in no way connected to what actually happens)

They were battling the Lady bone demon. And it was a pretty intense battle, and Mk felt useless. He didn't have any powers, so what could he do? His powers always helped him, he defeated Dbk with them, defeated Red son many times using his powers and beat the spider queen with them.

He.. couldn't do anything.. he was powerless. His friends had experience in battling without powers, but him? He always relied on his powers. He watched his friends battle, trying their hardest.. whilst he was cowering in fear.

He soon spots his staff, maybe... just maybe, he could pull it out. He thought it was worth a shot, so while everyone is distracted, he sneaks around the edge. Making sure not to give away his plan, he edged closer and finally makes it to the ramp. His staff was just at the top.

Using some of the crystals to his advantage he climbs, he makes sure to not mis step. Because that would send him tumbling down the hill.

He eventually gets to the top. He smiles in relief and stands up, his hand out stretched to grab the staff. Once his hand makes contact he tugs, but it doesn't budge. He tugs again. Nothing. He places both hands on it and pulls with all his might.

Again. Nothing.

He growls, 'Come on- you stupid- staff-!' He silently curses. Suddenly, he gets a chill up his spine. He flinches, not wanting to turn around. But- he feels the need to.

He slowly turns his head. He then locks eyes with the Lady bone demon, 'That... can't be good' he flinches again as another chill goes up his spine. She is suddenly in front of him, which catches the attention of everyone else.

Then a pain shots through his body, he yells out.

"KID!" Pigsy shouts in worry, he try's to run to Mk but gets held back by Sun Wukong. "GET OFF!" He thrashes about, "No! It's way too dangerous to run up there!" Wukong growls in response. "B-BUT- M..mk..!" He voice goes to a whisper watching Mk in pain.

"MK!" Next to yell is Mei, her hair sparks. Red son steps in front of her, trying to make sure she doesn't go full fire. Tang just stands and watches, he doesn't know what to do, same with Sandy. Macaque is growling, he's trying not to lunge at the girl that is harming Mk.

Mk falls to the floor, his body in pain. His mind starts to go blank, he starts to lose consciousness. His eyes close, only to re-open as blue... and glowing.

He stands up, saying nothing. He looks at his friends.. them all staring at him with a mix of anger and fear.

They are not your friends.

A voice rings out inside of Mk's head. It repeats that phrase over and over again. He clenches his fists before lunging at Pigsy and Wukong.

Wukong quickly pushes Pigsy out of the way and gets sent back into a wall, from the impact of Mk. Mk grabs hold of his neck almost crushing it. "KID!" Pigsy calls out as if he would get a response.

"C-come on bud- y..-you go-got to s-snap out of it!" He manages to get out through wheezes, but it's no use. He cant hear him.. he can't hear anyone. "Mk!" Sandy tries to grab him but gets knocked back by the same person he's trying to save.

Monkey king uses this distraction to kick him, so he does just that. It's powerful enough to make Mk lose his grip, despite Mk having his.. or some type of power back, Monkey king still could do something.

Mk was temporarily kneeling on the ground, but that doesn't last long. As he stands back up.

He then looks at Pigsy, and the pig knows it. Pigsy gets into a battle ready stance, but he's not strong enough. He gets sent flying backwards into Tang, who attempted to catch the pig demon. They both hit a wall.

"Guys!" Mei calls out, she runs over to them. Mk steps towards her, but doesn't get to far because Red son steps in the way. "Noodle boy.. you've got to snap out of what ever hold that lady has on you! You are hurting your friends!" He motions towards Pigsy and Tang, then over at Sandy who was now helping Wukong along side Macaque.

Mk doesn't respond, his dull gaze looking at Red son. He grabs Red son by the neck and increases the pressure, "I..is- th-that..- all- y-you've got?!" Red son challenges with a growl. Mk throws Red son to the side, sending him into a rock with a thud. "Red!" Mei covers her mouth.

Mk leaves her and walks towards Red.

Red places a hand over his neck, and flinches. He shakes it off though and looks at Mk. "No matter.. how much.. you hate me- you know you would never kill me.. you're too nice for that Noodle boy" Mk doesn't stop walking. He stands right in front of Red, and picks the fire demon up by his collar.

"Snap out of it noodle boy!" He spits... it almost sounds like he's desperate. With no other option left he summons a flame and pushes it into Mk, making him drop Red. Out of no where Macaque lunges at Mk, "Come on kiddo! You need to stop!" He pins Mk down restricting his movement. He only gets a blank stare in return.

"You're stronger than this!" He increases his pressure, "Do you really want to hurt people?! Monkey king? Pigsy? Mei?! Your other friends?! Because that's what's happening! You are hurting them!" He hisses.

For a moment, it seems as if Mk's eyes flash back to normal, with the addition of fear. But only for a second before he pushes Macaque off with his legs.

Monkey king stands beside Macaque, "Please kid.." he pleads.

The voice in his head starts to fade out. He clenches his teeth, lunging at monkey king. He soon gets thrown into a rock when Mei uses some of her new found fire power. He smashes into a wall and falls to the floor, his head ringing.

His eyes start to fade back to normal, and he starts to cough. While flinching, the pain from all the blows he had received only started to take effect. "Kid!" Monkey king runs over to him.

"Wh..what happened..?" His voice is no more than a whisper, "Mk!" Mei runs up to him and laches onto him. "A-are you okay?! I'm- I'm so sorry!" She closes her eyes, "I'm..- agh- fine" he winces. "Kid- I'm so glad your okay!" Wukong smiles.

Mk looks around, "I.. I'm so.." he doesn't get much out because tears start to stream down his face, "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry everyone" he cries. "Shh.. shh please don't blame yourself" Mei hugs him tightly.

Tang helps Pigsy up and they both walk towards Mk, "Kid!" Pigsy sighs in relief. "P-Pigsy..?" He looks up, "I'm.. I'm sorry" his voice cracks. "S-stop, it's not your fault" he smiles reassuringly.

"Noodle boy" Red walks up to him, "R-Red.. son.." he looks at the fire demon. "You know, Red was helping us try and get you back..~" she smirks.

Red blushes, "Shut it dragon horse girl!" He hisses. Mk thanks him...

And where was the demon bone lady? Oh, simple, she was watching all this chaos unfold.
