Rose was a young 23 years old lady when this began. She grew up in Tunisia, in Sousse to be more specific, in a normal family. Since the age of 3 she discovered a passion for dance and there her dance career started, dancing was her refuge when things weren't going well in her life, especially during heartbreaks. Dance was the only thing she turned to. At the age of 16 her coach offered her to go work as a dancer and a responsible of the dance department in their branch in Paris, but this job offer was due once she will be 18 and have her French baccalaureate.

She had it all planned, she was going to study and put all of her focus and efforts on it, but what she didn't plan was meeting her first love. At that time Rose had never been in love, in fact she didn't believe in love before 18, and the only reason why she believed in soulmate was because since a child, she has been a desperate lover, she always dreamt about how she will meet her soulmate and their whole story even the marriage she wants to have. But after some teenagers "love" stories, she started to have a hard time believing she will have her own beautiful story.

1 month before her 16th birthday, one of her friends invited her to hang out with some of his friends from Hammamet. At first she wasn't really hip and she was about to turn him down when she remembered how she needed to improve her social skills, so she decided to go. Once there, she felt awkward, not in her place perhaps, and the fact that she only knew 2 out of 12 people made it worse, so she stayed on her phone texting her best friend anxiously. An hour must've passed and nobody spoke with her or even noticed her, but once she heard a familiar voice talking with her she jumped out of surprise wondering who it might be, "Rose I suppose right?" "You guessed right' while raising her head to put a face on the voice, 'Hammamet guy!" "Oh! 'You don't remember me! He asked her surprisedly, "Last summer I took you on a date!" "Oh! That was you, the guy from the silly date! Adrian, right?" "Excuse me! The silly date! I took you to my favorite spot!" "To get girls! Your favorite place to get your girls!" They had a good laugh about what happened the previous summer when one of Adrian's friends came asking from a lighter, it was the typical awkward moment of when the person with you is talking with someone you don't know, she say awkwardly trying to seem as cool as she can and preparing what she can tell him to make an interesting conversation. And then finally Adrian looked back at her and asked her to go a bit further from the group so they could be at peace.

Rose had a good evening with Adrian, they laughed, talked and ate, it was surely a better date then the one they had before! And to follow up he invited her to the mini pool party he was throwing at his house, not a lot of people were coming so it was perfect for Rose she can manage being around Adrian's best friends Dora and Marley and few other people she didn't know. Rose couldn't not be excited to see him again, how couldn't she be, after an evening like the one they had, and even though a lot of her friends warned her about him and told her, how a jerk he is but blinded as she was she chose to ignore them all. The day has come and there she is wearing her best swimming suit ready to charm Adrian. In front of the door, she was nervous, she was standing there wondering if she should ring the bell or knock the door, a typical nervous Rose. After she finally decided and rang the bell, there was Marley opening the door, "He was right you are beautiful!" "Sorry what!" She asked, surprised at what she heard, "Excuse me, I'm Marley, Adrian's best friend!" At that moment she had no idea how important this person is going to be for her and it didn't take her longer to become friends with him. In fact, she ditched Adrian to spend the whole day talking with Marley, which made her best friends, especially Angele happy.

From that day a valued and solid friendship began between Rose and Marley. But everyone knew it wasn't just a friendship, everyone could say from the way they look at each other and act with each other they are not just friends and they could never be just friends.

A year has gone by since the first time they met, it was a typical night a combination of late night, a starry sky, the sound of the ocean waves caressing their skin tenderly making them shiver, listening to home by Edith Whiskers, and for a moment they both looked at each other getting they eyes looking at the beauty they both saw in one the other, at that moment something felt like a sign, it felt like it couldn't get any more perfect and beautiful for them to kiss, you could feel like that was what they needed to do, and finally Marley had the courage to kiss her making they lips collapse and they soul dance on the symphony of love, it was the definition of perfection and happiness combined. Which also reminded them of all the time they almost kissed like the last time at the hotel room when he went to see her, they were hugging when he looked at her and was about to kiss her but his courage bailed on him, but this time he did it and till now days, that kiss is his favorite one.

But they never got together, for the whole two years they never put any labels on what they are. But it didn't keep him from visiting her every weekend in Sousse, it didn't matter how busy she was, or how tired he can get, to spend even five minutes with her was more then enough, time didn't matter for him what did was seeing her happy, which he never failed to make her feel so, as he promised her since the start. They were each other's first love, and as they say, you can't forget your first love. What made Marley even more special, wasn't the fact that was only her first love but also the person she did all of her firsts with, kissing, drinking, smoking and the boy she lost her virginity to. And till this day every one of her anecdotes from her teenage years or her summers his name is mentioned at least once or twice.

But once the two years were over, and finally the time for her to move to Paris had come, it was hard for her to leave him but she had to. And despite the large distance one thing didn't change, the way they feel towards each other. And even when they tried to move on with their lives, they just couldn't not be one another's life. And in the end they were known as Rose and Marley, nobody can change that, not even them.

And years went by, they both grew up and matured, Rose is now in a relationship with a guy she knew from her high school days for almost 2 years now, but Marley stayed Marley, his longest relationship after Rose, was a six month one and nobody not even Rose knows about the reason of the breakup which was his burning feelings for Rose and how even after 5 years he can't put out the fire of his love, and he crossed a line on dating and now focusing on his photography career.
