Crushing On My Tutor

Chapter One: Rough Start.

Finally.

With the last box in my hands, I walked into my new campus apartment, feeling both excited and exhausted. The empty rooms echoed with each step I took, and the sunlight streamed in through the windows, casting a warm glow on the bare walls. I made my way to the kitchen, where I carefully placed the last box on the counter, savoring the feeling of accomplishment. It had taken me hours to move everything in by myself, but I had finally made it. Exhausted, I plopped down on the cool tile floor, relishing the silence and the sense of freedom that came with my new place.

This is my first semester as a college student. Even though I'm twenty... I waited a couple of years because I didn't know what I wanted to do. Everyone just rushed into college straight out of highschool and just knew what they wanted to do. Not me. I was clueless for a while until I settled with psychology. I found it interesting and there's a lot of cool fields you can go into with it so why not give it a shot.

Though this is my first semester I'm pretty well versed in the University of Konoha. I used to come here all the time with my best friends Ino, Sakura, and Hinata and walk the campus with them. They even snuck me into their classes a few times. We also went to many parties together here over the few years we've been here and they've all been great opportunities for me to make new friends. So when it comes to having to find my social circle I'm covered.

But that's enough about that. It's time to decorate my apartment! I don't have a lot of stuff, just whatever I had in my room back home, some fake plants, and some posters. This place is really small. Like you can see the entire apartment when you walk in kind of small. You walk in and the kitchen is immediately on your right that's completed with an island and two complementary barstools, the living room is right in front of you and then immediately to your left is the laundry and a little farther down is a small hallway that leads to my room and bathroom. Again, the place is small but it's perfect for one little college student.

"I can't wait to have the girls over." I said to myself as I sat up off the floor after a few minutes. I took my box that had my bedroom stuff in it and made my way to my bedroom. The place came pre-furnished thankfully but I still needed to add my sheets and shit to the bed. I placed the box on the desk and got to work on my bedroom.

It took me a whole other hour and a half but it's finally done. I got my posters hanging up, my nick nacks sorted, and most of my clothes put up. That's like seventy-five percent of what I needed to do besides get the kitchen in order. I stocked up on so much ramen I'm going to be fed for months.

I went ahead and took a shower since moving in and stuff had made me all sweaty. I just wore some orange sweats and a beanie so my messed up hair won't be in the way. I hopped on my bed and dialed up my best friend.

"What do you want Naruto?" Ino asked me as she was adjusting her phone on something so I could see her doing her makeup.

"Damn that's how you're going to greet me?" I said back, a smile made its way on my lips as I watched her roll her eyes, already annoyed with me just from my presence. God I loved her attitude.
