Connie Yawned, after spending the entire day shopping, he was beat.
He was so tired, he fell asleep in the vehicle, leaning on Ash's shoulder. he was half awake when Ash carried him inside, bridal style, his gaze locked On his wolf.
Ash sat on the couch with Connie still in his arms. He caressed Connie's head as he turned on the television.
they sat there for quite awhile, Connie shifted upright, now cuddled into Ash's fur.

Connie thought about how lucky he was. he came to ozeton somewhat scared to start over, but the pieces fell into place, and now, he's the happiest little fox ever.
"Connie.. I wanna show you something." Ash whispered. "Follow me." he led Connie outside, to the backyard, and up a ladder to the roof, all while he was blindfolded. Once they were on the roof, Ash removed Connie's blindfold.
Connie looked up to the cityscape with all the lights on.
it was beautiful. it really was.
Connie turned to Ash, his eyes were shining. He was beautiful too. it was so quiet too. the city lights were on, but not one sound was heard.
it reminded me of a memory. a memory of my mother..

"Conan dear, go back to bed! it's late, you have school tomorrow!"
"but mommy wook at the sky!" little me yelled back. my mom came outside, and looked up.
above the old city in the distance, the northern lights Danced and glittered in the Canada wind. little me turned to my mom, her eyes shining exactly like Ash's.
"mom..."  I whispered from where I was watching her and little me.
I started to tear up. I fell to my knees and screamed.
"Stupid cancer! I hate it! why couldn't you have just beat it?if?! why did you have to divorce dad!? why? why why?" I cried. "Shit mom! why why WHY!?"
"Mommy, who's that..? Little me asked. wh-what? I looked up, he was.. looking at me.
"i- I dunno, stay close to me." mom spoke calmly. they started backing away slowly. was this even a memory anymore?
"m-mom.. its me. it's me, Connie. your son." tears ran down my muzzle.

she let go of little me's hand.
"Connie...?" mom sounded slightly hoarse. "look at you. your so much bigger!" she looked back at the other me, who looked just as confused as me. focusing her attention back to me, she started to cry. "y-your so.. handsome. im..."
she clutched her stomach, and almost fell over.
"proud of you..." she talked quietly, as blood started to drip from her mouth.

I opened my eyes, I was still on the roof, but now I was crying. ash was even closer and comforting me. how did I ever get lucky enough to have a boyfriend like Ash...
"Ash... thank you." I whispered.
"what for?"
everything. everything you've done for me, how happy you make me, how much you love me.. thank you."
"oh.. love it's nothing. I like helping furs, especially you, little fox." Ash giggled.
"y'know.. I hated when everyone called me that. but you.. your different. your- special." I responded. he laughed once more and kissed me.
"so...bad news... I have to go back to the coffee shop Tomarrow. my Time off ended today." Ash returned his gaze to the stars.
"awww.. okay. but hey I may stop in!"
"that would make my shift way more fun believe me." we laughed.
"welp.. im gonna head to bed, you wanna join?" Ash asked.
"sure, I'll go to bed, pretty tired anyways." I replied.
while climbing down the ladder, I realized just how good of a person Ash really is. he didn't ask Me why I was crying. he probably realized what I thought about was sad, and that I didn't want to talk about it. he didn't try to nose himself into my personal business, he just.. comforted me while I cried.

walking back inside, I made my way to the couch, and let myself fall onto it.
"what're you doing-?" Ash asked.
"well I'm going to bed, why?"
"oh no reason! just saying my bed is way more comfy, and it csn fit two people! just saying."
"hmm I'm not so sure I get what your saying, please elaborate!" I joked.
"I am formally inviting you to sl-" Ash stopped, realizing what he was saying.
"sleep with you-? sure I'll join you! what do I have to lose.?" I walked passes Ash, blowing him a kiss.
"your virginity-" Ash mumbled jokingly. he noticed I heard him when i stopped and slowely turned.
"kidding! relax!" He blushed

I blushed uncontrollably. I wish...
Ash got In bed first, and I crawled in next to him. we went to sleep, and not one word was spoken.
Time Jump: 3 hours
I woke up in the middle of the night, Ash was putting his arms around me, and cuddled with me, after giving me a tiny, silent kiss.
I love you ash... I love you with all my heart.
but what are you implying with that comment,Ash?

Shorter chapter Today guys! I started school today, so chapters will be less frequent sadly. anyways.. about this chapter huh?
when Connie was talking to his mom in that flashback dream thing, she was growing weak from cancer, that's why she had blood coming from her mouth. and she clutched her belly because of pain. ypu probably knew that-
what'd yall think of that comment Ash made? was he maybe implying somethin'-? hehe
also, I had a weird thought to make multiple endings, I dunno. I won't do it, it's too weird. I'll tell you the 'cut'ending tho!

"Connie suddenly wakes, hes back At the coffee shop, he looked down at his sketchbook, that he's been drawing in. he fell asleep here. he's been sleeping here...
the entire time. it was all a dream.
"Hey dude, my coworkers wanted me to check on you, you've been here for like 2 hours, and we've noticed you putting your head down, and shielding your eyes from the light." That same wolf spoke those firmiliar words.

Pretty messed up right? you can understand why I scrapped it.
