"We are truly sorry mother, but there is some good news though. He is alive and well, and he is stronger than he was before." Leto glared at Artemis for a few seconds before relaxing slightly before sighing and calming herself down. "Very well daughter, will you please take me to him?" She asked her daughter almost pleadingly, to which Artemis shifted in her throne slightly. "That is another problem, we don't know where he is."

~~3RD Person POV~~

It has been a year since Lucifer disappeared, monster attacks have been increasing by each month, but lately there hasn't been any and the campers at camp Half-Blood were getting restless. Luna, James, Max, and Elisa were very worried as Lucifer still hasn't returned, they were scared that something may have happened to him. He may be strong but he can still get caught up in his emotions, in the Olympian throne room the gods were worried as Artemis had just told them that 2,000 monsters were on there way to the camp. Zeus told Artemis to go to the camp with her hunters to warn them as the gods were watching over the camp, they knew that with the help of the Chaos team they would be able to handle the army but there would be heavy losses nonetheless. Once Artemis had flashed out the gods started talking about what to do to, without Lucifer's help they agreed that things did not look good.

After Artemis flashed in with her hunters she had Chiron gather the campers, after a few moments all the campers were at the big house and the goddess spoke up. "Campers, I have news from Olympus, there is an army of about 2,000 monsters heading our way. We have roughly half an hour until they get here, until then we need all of you to gear up and set up defenses around the camp. All campers that are to young to fight, you will help the medics with the wounded and with setting up defenses, Luna, Max, Elisa, and James I need you four to stay here to discuss strategy and have a talk with you." Once she was done all the campers stared at her in silence for a few moments before running to do as they were told until the four mentioned were left as they walked up and followed Artemis and Chiron into the big house.

~~James POV~~

To say we were nervous after what Artemis told us, you would be correct, in the main room of the big house there was a map of the camp and the surrounding area. As we gathered around the table we all looked towards the goddess as she looked at each one of us. "Have any of you heard anything from Lucifer or anything from him?" All she got in response was sad looks before each one of us shook our heads no, to which she sighed as she looked down at the map. "Lady Artemis, I know things are not looking great, especially with our commander out of the picture but until then we must focus on making sure the camp is protected as much as possible and keep the losses down to a minimum." I said to her without looking away as she nodded in response.

"Ok, we'll set up defenses here, here, and here, me, James, and Elisa will be leading the attack as Max will be with the archers, telling them where and when to shoot the volley of arrows into the army. if we start to lose to many campers we'll fall back to the first line of defense, we'll need your hunters in the trees making sure no monsters flank us and killing as many as they can." Luna started going into battle mode as she was the best with strategy, second to Lucifer we were all paying attention to her and pointing things out here and there as we started coming up with battle plans. But nothing was for sure since we didn't know what types of monsters would be there for the battle but we were trying to come up with plans for any possible scenario.

After coming up with a few battle plans we had the campers group up and told them what the plans were. They nodded in response before running away to get everything set up as each of us went to our respective cabins to gear up for the battle. Once ready we stood at the top of Half-Blood hill, looking down we saw the massive group of monsters walking our way and stop across the road a cloaked figure then stepped out in front of the small (compared to others they have seen) army of monsters and start walking towards us.
