Chapter 9

"Hello Abyss long time no see. What brings you here today?" The being, now known as Abyss lowered his hood, revealing a pale face with two long scars over each eye, his eyes were pitch black as if looking into an abyss. His head was completely bald along with the rest of his face, his nose looked as if it had been broken multiple times, his teeth were yellow and crooked as he had a sinister/psychotic smile on his face. "Oh I thought I'd just stop by and say how much I'm loving my time on earth, and that once I'm done with it, you all are next."

~~3RD Person POV~~

Before the primordials could do anything Abyss disappeared, shadow traveling back to earth. The primordials didn't say anything for a few minutes before the room erupted in conversation. Some of them argued and some talking about what just happened as Chaos and Order talked to each other. After a few more minutes Chaos had everyone leave except for Order, once everyone was gone Chaos turned to Order.

"We should warn Lucifer and the others about what just happened, but the gods do not need to know." He said to his wife, Order to which she nodded before replying "You are right, but are you sure we can trust Lucifer right now? You know how he feels about the gods, with Eris down there using her magic on him and with Abyss holding his mother captive. He could eventually snap and neither side will benefit from it." Chaos thought for a moment before nodding and looking at Order, "You may be right but I recently spoke with him, he asked me to see if Nyx will bless him, seeing as he's in the underworld. But I may have another option, you could bless him, with your powers he could keep his mind and body in balance. After all, there is no order without chaos and vice versa." Order nodded as she listened to her husband, when she was finished she thought for a moment before replying.

"Yes I can do that, plus's he'll need all the help he can get now that we know who he's dealing with." They both nodded as they opened a mind link to Lucifer. "Hey Lucifer, do you a have a moment? We need to talk to you about something." A few seconds later they heard Lucifer's voice with his reply "I'm kind of busy at the moment, I'll talk with y'all later. I have to meet with the mysterious person and discuss about the next course of action." With that the link was severed and the two primordials looked at each other in worry. "I hope he knows what he's doing." Order spoke first, nervousness in her voice. Even though none of the five were their children, they were all like family. Chaos nodded before putting his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry dear, Lucifer has done this sort of stuff when dealing with other tyrants and such on other planets."

~~Lucifer's POV~~

   After I severed the link with Chaos and Order I got dressed in my room and left before walking to the main room. I looked around and saw, Eris, Perses, and Morpheus, I raised an eyebrow before looking at the mysterious being, still not knowing who it is. "Sir, is something wrong? Why is Perses and Morpheus here?" I asked the cloaked figure, in response he pulled his hood off, and I took a small step back seeing Abyss, Primordial of black holes, emptiness, and well the abyss. "They are here to make sure that you are on my side and not with Chaos. Lucifer, leader of the Chaos strike team, blessed by Chaos, son of Leto and Lycaon and, we all hope, destroyer of Olympus." After hearing this I froze for a few seconds before looking to where the others were but they weren't there. A second later I was tackled to the floor by Perses and pinned down as Eris bent down and started whispering in my ear about how it was time for the gods to die and for Abyss to take over. She kept going on as I struggled slightly but I felt myself starting to get sleepy as I looked over and saw Morpheus muttering, using his powers to put me to sleep. Just as I was about to pass out, my eyes closed I could smell something pungent and as I inhaled the scent without being able to move away from it I could feel it creep into my mind as I passed out.
