Chapter 5

"My dear children it is so good to see you two again, but where is Lucifer?" Leto asked to which Apollo and Artemis replied at the same time "Ask our father Zeus, he has a very interesting story to tell you about our brother." Leto looked at Zeus quizzically before asking him to tell the story of where her third child was.

~~Luna's POV~~

After Artemis had flashed out me and the rest of the team met up outside of the pavilion as the rest of the campers were talking amongst themselves and shouting about whether or not what Lucifer had said was true. Once out of range of the campers we all stood in a circle to discuss what to do now, "What should we do? Do we go look for him or stay here?" I asked looking at the others before Max replied.

"We obviously can't go after him because we don't know where he is and his "chat" with Artemis did not go that well, he'll probably need some time alone." We nodded in agreement before looking back at the campers, some were still arguing while the rest were looking towards us. "Right now our best option is to stay here, look after the camp, and try to find out who is trying to take the gods out." Elisa said as we started to walk over to the pavilion, as we walked we tried to come up with something to tell Chiron to calm the campers down and to try and get the camp back to normal.

At the pavilion we walk over to Chiron as the campers watch us but we ignore them as we talk to the centaur, after a while of talking we all face the campers as Chiron speaks up. "Campers, please go about your normal duties these four will stay here as they will try to clear thing up with the gods and find out some answers for all of us." Most of the campers groan as they get up to go back to their activities except for Annabeth, Percy, and Nico. The trio walk up to us as we watch them, Annabeth is the first to speak up.

"Is what Lucifer said true? Is his mother actually Leto, mother to Artemis and Apollo?" All she got was shoulder shrugs from each of us as we didn't know. "We are not sure, the only one's that knew of Lucifer's past were his boss and the gods. We tried multiple times to get him to tell, nearly cost James' life once, after that we stopped. But he never gave us a reason to not trust him so we never brought it back up, and yes we did ask his boss but he told us that since Lucifer didn't tell us then he wasn't going to." I answered her as she looked a bit crestfallen afterwards, probably because she didn't get the answer she was looking for.

A while of talking with the trio and Chiron later we finally left the pavilion and went to go do our own things for the day. We didn't know when Lucifer would be back because sometimes he would begone for minutes to months and sometimes even longer. I went about my day, training here and there and sometimes helping out my siblings with their duties or if they needed help with something else. It was nice to be outside for a while and not have to worry about if there was going to be attack, seeing as how most of our missions would be like this, us helping the locals as we had to keep our guard up in case of an attack.

When the conch horn blew for dinner I followed some of my siblings to the pavilion, they were talking about something but I wasn't paying attention as I was looking for my teammates and seeing if Lucifer had come back. I found my teammates and waved at them but didn't see Lucifer anywhere, oh well he will come back eventually no matter how many times we have made him mad or anyone else he always came back because we are basically a family. As we were eating we started talking about random things, eventually we somehow ended up on the topic of relationships and my teammates.

"So Luna, do you have a crush on anyone? If so who?" one of my sisters asked, I think her name Laney I looked at her before telling her no I didn't have a crush on anyone. She perked up slightly afterwards as she leaned in and started asking questions like, have you Lucifer, James, or Max naked, have I slept with any of them, and all those teenager questions like that. I answered all her questions to the best I could as I hadn't seen anyone but Elisa naked in our team, but that was because we shared a room together.

After dinner we all went to the campfire for the singing and whatnot but I snuck away from my siblings and sat down next to James as he was alone. "Hey James, how are you settling into the camp?" He looked at me before thinking for a bit as he chuckled softly. "It is very different from the Roman camp, that's for sure." I nodded my head as I looked around, watching the rest of the team Max was talking with his siblings, meanwhile Elisa was scribbling in her notebook as usual she was always working on something. Me and James talked for a while as we watched the other campers as we talked we got to know a lot more about each other and our past, we talked about random things as well. Once everything was said and done it was time to go to bed and we got up before telling each other goodnight and went to our respective cabins.

The next morning after breakfast I met up with James and asked if he wanted to go to the arena to have a sparring session to practice our fighting and he agreed. Once at the arena we got ready as we faced each other, I may not be as good as James or Lucifer when it came to fighting but I could still hold my own and give them a bit of a challenge. We got out our swords and got into our stances before nodding at each other, a few seconds later we rushed towards each other as we started our fight. As we fought a few of the campers stopped to watch us but we didn't pay any attention to them as we continued on with our sparring session.

After I had lost the match it was time for lunch, we both walked to the pavilion as we discussed the fight and about techniques to help each other out for later fights. As we got to the pavilion I asked him to join me at the table with my siblings and he agreed and we sat down to eat. My siblings were all hitting on him obviously and asking him all sorts of questions, but he wasn't really paying attention and was giving them answers with as little words as possible. "Alright everyone that's enough let the man rest and enjoy his food. Even though he may seem like it, he does not like to talk all that much."

A few of the girls pouted as others looked at me questioningly, as if I was interested in him or something which I wasn't. After lunch we went our separate ways and I helped out some of my sisters with their chores as we talked some. "You know Luna, you and James would make a cute couple you know?" Laney asked/told me. "What are you talking about? We don't even like each other like that in any sort of way." I responded as I looked at her with a raised eyebrow

"Oh come on girl he was checking you out every chance he could, especially when you two were fighting." I rolled my eyes at her as I thought to myself. Is she right? I mean sure I have caught him looking a few times before hand, but so had Max and Lucifer but all three of them also did the same with Elisa. Yea sure they have urges but there's loads of girls here and the many other planets we have been to have had beautiful girls there as well. Sure they might have not been human but they were still beautiful nonetheless.

I'll just have to have a talk with James about it tomorrow. I mean it's not like anything will come about it if I talk with him about his sexual life... right? Well worst case scenario he doesn't want to talk about it and we move on, best case scenario? I'm not sure, I guess we'll have to wait and see but I'm sure everything will be alright. After finishing up with the duties I hung out with Elisa some as we chatted about our time here so far.

When the conch horn blew for dinner me and Elisa parted ways as we went to our table's. After dinner and the camp fire I went to bed as I thought about how best to talk to James tomorrow. I took a shower and got changed before sliding into bed as I sighed to myself thinking about everything that has happened so far.

After I woke up and got ready for the day I walked with my siblings to the pavilion. Once breakfast was over I left to go find James, I found him helping some campers and asked if I could borrow him for a little bit to which they said it was fine. I led James away from them before turning around and looked him up and down. "James I just wanted to ask you some personal questions if you don't mind?"
