Chapter 12

I woke up in a cold sweat as I sat up quickly before looking around. Once I realized where I was, I geared up and started to cry profusely as I thought back to that dream and about my wife and kids before their deaths. A few days after that incident, Chaos had given me the collar and chain as it was infused with parts of their souls. It was enough to keep me at bay so as to not go berserk and to know that they would always be with me no matter what. I stayed up the rest of the night, anger and sadness coursing through me as I cried, begging for them to come back to me, knowing that my words were falling on deaf ears but still begging nonetheless. I eventually fell asleep again from exhaustion, but this time with no dreams because of how tired I was.

~~1 Week Later~~

~~3RD Person POV~~

It has been a week since the meeting on Olympus. Annabeth, Percy, Luna, and Elisa finally arrived at Nyx's mansion, their trip here was a bit hard, but easier than last time Percy and Annabeth was down here thanks to Luna and Elisa. Once they were inside the mansion couple followed the duo deeper into the mansion, following the map that Athena had drawn after talking to Eris. There was no monsters in the mansion and the group was starting to feel as if something was wrong, very wrong, they were expecting at least a little resistance, a few minutes later the group was in the dungeons and went to the cells holding the imprisoned campers. When they got to the cells they were surprised by what they saw, they campers were well fed and their cells had enough beds for each camper and there were a few lamps in each cellar for just enough light. They were expecting the campers to be treated like, well prisoners, but they seemed to be treated more like campers but still imprisoned. After they got the prisoners out they left the mansion and went to Lucifer's house to try and find anything they could, but as soon as they entered the house a magical barrier went up around the house unbeknownst to them.

As they went around the house they couldn't find anything no matter how hard they searched, after about 15 minutes they decided that it was time to leave, but as they were walking through the living room they stopped as the tv turned on. On the tv was an image of Lucifer and he was smiling like a lunatic, a few seconds go by and then Lucifer starts talking, "My oh my, what do we have here? Luna and Elisa? Oh and Percy, Annabeth, and the campers that thought they could spy on me, Now you may be wondering how I know you're in my house in Tartarus and why you are there am I right?" no one said a word and a few seconds later Lucifer continued. "Well the how is simple, while James may be able to shadow travel and use the shadows to hide, I can use the shadows for much more. Like being able to listen in on conversations in the Olympian throne room, also my portal IM's help as well, Also because I know about Eris helping you all. As for why I know that you're here, well you probably thought that I may have had some plans for what I was doing, well you're wrong. Come on, we literally been through so many wars together, you know we never kept anything out in the open. Also did you think about what if I was there? Then what would you do? At this point right now most of the campers would be dead and you four would be not far from death as well. Moving on, if you four are here then that means, James, Max, Artemis, and her hunters are going after Hestia and as much as I would love to mess with you all I have some people I need to make sure they stay in line. Have fun with the monsters that have surrounded the house, don't die!" and with that the tv turned off as the magic around the house disappeared, the group didn't move at first but then made a beeline for the door. Once they got outside they looked around and saw that there was only about 15 monsters waiting for them, this was not going to be a fun time at all.

~~meanwhile on Mt. Orthys~~

~~Lucifer's POV~~

I stepped out of my portal next to Thalia, who was now awake, and looked around as I stretched, I walked around for a bit before finding Atlas and walked over to him as I glanced over at Hestia. "Artemis and her hunters are coming, along with two others that I will deal with while you take care of the other understood? They may not look like it but they are stronger than any other demigod and if we fail here then I will make sure you spend the rest of your miserable life alone, you will never be able to talk to anyone ever again got it?" I asked the titan without looking at him as he said yes and I walked away and over to Hestia. "Hello again Lady Hestia, now that you have given my proposal some thought have you decided on an answer?" I smiled down at Hestia as I could hear Thalia trying to tell her not to say anything but I wasn't paying much attention to her as I watched Hestia look up at me and nodded.
