Chapter 13

"I Can do that but in order for me to do it like last time I will need the help of one of the gods. The only reason it was as effective as the last one was because Lucifer's family essence was in the chain to help keep him calm." James nodded thinking for a while, "We'll go talk to the gods but I would recommend if you come with us to help convince them and agree to not kill Lucifer." Chaos nodded before standing up and shrinking down to human size before teleporting them to the throne room to talk to the gods.

~~3RD Person POV~~
~~Olympian throne room~~

When Chaos and the others stepped through the portal and into the throne room it was completely silent. But the five could tell that the gods weren't silent because the primordial showed up. No, they were silent because they hoped that Chaos had a plan as for what to do next and how to get their children back safe and sound. Chaos nodded in approval at the gods not bickering for once before looking around at each god individually. "Hello gods, my team has already caught me up on what's going on. Now I need to ask a favor from one of you, but first let me tell you what is going on with Lucifer."

   Chaos summoned up some chairs for anybody and everybody as Percy, Annabeth, Artemis' hunters, and the campers who weren't captured. Once everyone was settled in Chaos began, "So as we all know Lucifer is not himself at the moment. I know he doesn't like all of you, but he would never act like this, I've sent him and his team on countless missions. There were some he hated but he did it nonetheless to help others who would've otherwise be dead right now. If he were to open up and talk with anyone you would find that he is actually a really nice and caring guy. Just ask me, a few other primordials, and his team-" James and Max nodded along with Elisa and Luna while Chaos continued talking. "But right now from what I can tell, Lucifer has been, well for lack of a better term, he's been possessed by Abyss." Everyone in the throne room except the four looked at him curiously as if to say how is he possessed? But as usual Athena was the first to speak up.

"Lord Chaos, how was he possessed by Abyss? We all saw what he did to him and that you killed him." Chaos nodded at Athena's question and thought for a moment before answering. "My best guess is when him and Lucifer were fighting Abyss broke the chain attached to Lucifer's collar. Which in turn Abyss put his essence into the chain and collar, which then spread to his mind, taking control. Which is why he's been able to keep the form he's been in, since the form he's in right now uses a lot of energy because of the Titan side and the werewolf side. Anyways I'm getting off topic, the favor I ask is for one of you to help me make a new chain and collar for Lucifer. I will require assistance because I will need some of the god or goddess essence and ichor to help make the chain and control him so he can get back to normal." Once Chaos finished the throne room filled with whispering and muttering as to who would be a perfect fit to help. Chaos looked around the room before turning to Hestia and walked over to her at the hearth before sitting next to her. Everyone was watching the primordial.

He did not pay attention to them as he watched the flames dance for a bit before turning to the goddess. "Lady Hestia, I would like to formally request that you be the one to help me. You are the only goddess I know of in which who has nearly as much anguish as Lucifer. Only a calm, warm, and comforting being such as you can control someone like Lucifer with so much hate and anger inside him. I know it's asking a lot but-" the primordial was cut off as Hestia turned to him before speaking. "Lord Chaos, I accept your proposal. I know my brothers and sisters may not like it, but if we can save him instead of the alternative then maybe he will see that while we did not treat him fairly. Maybe he might see that we are changing for the good and that we're not as bad as we once were."

Chaos smiled warmly at Hestia before nodding and stood up. "Then it's settled, Hestia will help me. While me and her get to work, I need the rest of you to come up with a plan as to how to be able to get Lucifer into the throne room and hold him down. Making the chain and collar combo will be easy, putting it on him is a whole different story. He might see it coming but if he doesn't, well then we'll have some luck on our side for once." Everyone nodded in agreement as Chaos opened a portal, "Lady Hestia, if you could come with me please. As for the rest of you, I need you to come up with a plan A and a plan B to somehow pin him down or restrain him. His powers do weaken with silver and it does hurt him but to basically make his powers null, you will have to use silver and celestial bronze." With that said Chaos walked through the portal with Hestia in tow, once through the portal closed as everyone else sat in silence for a few minutes.
