They ran as fast as they could towards the beach, Neji with his sleeping cousin on his lap while Naruto lit the way in front of him. They ran towards Sakura, who was tending to Tenten, still choking.

"I need something sharper! And a pen!" – She asked the curious survivors that hovered around the dying scene. He quickly turned his attention to Hinata, who was placed next to Tenten. "Gosh, what happened?"

"We'll talk about this later..." Naruto tried to catch his breath, but seeing Tenten's state made him gasp even more. Sakura quickly checked Hinata's jugular pulse confirming that she was just passed out.

"She is alive!" – she said to Neji, who was clearly distressed. He breathed a sigh of relief for a few seconds before getting tense again with the suffering girl in front of him.

"Here Sakura!" - Ino handed her a sharp shard and the pen she found.  "Serve?"

"They'll have to serve... get me some water to at least clean the blade!"

"What does she have? What are you going to do with it?" – Neji asked as he knelt beside his cousin.

"Can you tell me if she fell into the water?" Sakura sanitized the shard as best she could before focusing on the part of the skin she needed to cut.

"Yes, and nearly drowned."

"That confirms my suspicions. It's a pleural effusion, water in the lungs. She breathed in a lot of water and now I need to find a way to get it out. Neji, I need you to hold her, because it's going to hurt..." Neji answered her and Sakura started the operation by drawing a small and deep scratch on the side of Tenten's chest, who was writhing and screaming with the pain she felt. Once she reached the desired depth, Sakura was quick to dismantle the pen and insert only the clear straw into the small tear, causing the salt water to spurt out of the girl's body, bringing her little relief.

"Thank you...thank you..." he panted, breathing again.

"It's okay... Come out, please, when the water stops coming, tie this shirt around her body, covering the wound." - She asked and the boy was ready. He turned his attentions to Hinata. "Those wounds...they're claws. Did you manage to kill the animal that did this?"

"We didn't... we didn't see what did it." – Neji mulled over the scene in which he found his cousin.

"She was tied up in some sort of... cross, I don't know! She looked like she was ready for a ritual!" – Naruto stated, agitated by what he had witnessed. "An animal wouldn't do that! They are Indians! I haven't seen them, but that's human work Sakura!"

"Indians? cannibals?" – Ino questioned and soon everyone was babbling among themselves.

"We still don't know! Could have been apes, a gorilla, I don't know!" – Sai increased his tone. "You didn't see what it was!" It's not possible that we're stuck with cannibals..." – he tried to calm himself.

"We didn't see it, but what else could have built that structure and tied her there?!" – Neji replied as he watched Sakura tend to her injuries. "Look, we don't have time for this right now. Sakura the pilot needs help too! We have to get back there before it's too late."

"Right." Sakura agreed as she finished bandaging the wounds. "There's not much I can do for her right now...we have to keep her hydrated so she regains the blood she's lost and can wake up. But she would be fine! Let's go to the pilot now."

"I'll take you there. Tenten tried to get up, but the effort made her groan in pain."

"You will stay here and recover!" - Neji scolded her. "Do me a favor and keep an eye on Hinata." - Tenten nodded in agreement and went back to lie down.
