This is the last the day before! Ahhhh!
I just saw Paramore in concert last week and I'm experiencing extreme PCD. Take me back D:
The attached photo. Oh my God. Fetus.
This is unedited, sorry!
Calum wasn't very phased by the principal's presence. He had gotten in trouble with Ol' Mr. Swanson (Parks & Rec reference aye) more times than he could count on his fingers this semester alone. Being popular and friends with popular people who don't make the best decisions definitely got him a fine dealing of discipline. Half the time he wasn't responsible for what happened anyway. It was usually some other jerk-jocks who Calum associated himself with for no other reason than that they were on the same soccer team.
Mr. Swanson stroked his cool ass mustache before announcing, "I don't know what you two were doing in there and frankly, I don't care. But as far as I'm concerned, lunch is starting soon and I've got a pound of ground beef waiting for me in my desk drawer. So, uh, detention. Good day." That was all he had to say before he turned around, muttering something about hating the government and basically everything, then walked away.
Calum just laughed, completely accustomed to this behavior. But Mrs. Irwin and Ashton were completely awestruck. "Listen here. Mr. Swanson may not care, but I do." The boys turned to see a anger-fueled Mrs. Irwin pointing at a horrified Ashton. Calum didn't know what to do, so he took this as his opportunity to leave. He just assumed Mrs. Irwin was like any other strict mom and that he should let her talk to her son. He was wrong.
"I left work for this. Work! Where I make our money to buy you things. How can someone be so ungrateful? You know what, you're coming home with me. Mr. Swanson's pathetic punishment can wait." She paused, running a frustrated hand over her bitchy face. She looked back up at Ashton and blinked a few times, as if trying to change the image in front of her. "Sex... Pistols?! Who's shirt is that? Oh Lord, I didn't raise you like this. You look like the piece of shit you are." She shook her head in distaste. "We're going."
Saying Ashton was horrified would be a complete understatement. His mom didn't let him miss school for anything. Even if he was sick. And she didn't miss work for anything. Even if she was sick. She must be really pissed now. What would she do to him? He didn't even want to know.
She reached over and grabbed Ashton's wrist and even thought he put up no fight, she ground her fingernails into his skin and made sure her grip was solid. Ashton winced but held in any cries of pain. As they walked, the pain began to get unbearable and Ashton let out a whimper. "Mother, that-- that's my writing hand," He pleaded. She didn't loosen her grip, in fact, she tightened it. "Good. Learn to write with your right hand, left-handers are signs of the devil." And that was the end of the argument.
The bell rang as they approached the doors and Luke came strolling out of his class, laughing and talking to some guy named Josh. He was the only other guy in school who colored his hair the way Michael did. Luke glanced over at Ashton, who was biting his lip with a red face, as if he was holding something in. Luke noticed how he was being practically dragged out of the building by some woman and on the verge of tears, but he didn't have a chance to protest before the Irwins were out of the building. Luke felt guilty for no saying anything, yes, but it wasn't his business. And he hated Ashton, anyways. As much as he tried to reassure himself, though, a nervous feeling was churning in the pit of his stomach. But he shook it off and went to his locker. He hated Ashton, he hated Ashton, he hated Ashton. And dick. He hated Ashton and his dick.
Luke placed his books in his locker, grabbed his lunch box and headed off to the cafeteria, relieved that it was time for lunch. His stomach rumbled angrily, because, per usual, Luke had neglected to eat breakfast. It never seemed needed in the morning, but he always ended up regretting not eating it. Yet he ended up doing the same thing every day.
