Hey guys, so this is my second to last chapter, sorry it was meant to be long but its quite interesting i guess, anyways ilysm <33 bye! and enjoy <3 also shoutout to: Hsmtmtslover24 shes so sweet!

Sunlight filled their room as they groaned in annoyance, knowing they'd have to wake up to another day. Joshua and Olivia hopped out of bed and brushed their teeth. These past few weeks had been exhausting, especially with the drama and the party last night. They wondered what the police had found and what would happen next. But what does happen next, they never expected.

"Good Morning," Olivia said, sipping her green tea. She dipped the tea bag in and out, so the flavours could wake her up, instead of her feeling sleepy and not bothered with anything. Joshua pulled up a chair as he drank his coffee.

"Good Morning, Liv." He lifted her chin and stroked her cheek. This earned a little giggle from her.

"So, what do you want to do today?"

"Uhm, I'm not so sure. Do you wanna like," He took a sip. "Have a chilled out day at home, or, out and about day?"

"Maybe stay at home, cause it's raining." She put down her tea and pointed to the window which was now covered in rain drops, all spreading everywhere. Joshua turned around and sighed.

"It, It doesn't matter. We can have a fun day at home." Olivia said, trying to smile through her sadness.

"It's always fun when we're together." Joshua smiled and winked at her.

"Josh, please. Stop, with these." She laughed. " These, cheesy jokes, I, I can't with them-" She continued to laugh her butt off.

Then, there was a knock on the door. His paranoia started to kick in. Always, and every time. He always thinks that it could be Adam. Just, could be. There is always a possibility. Or, maybe, it could be the person he works with? Who knows.

"I'll get that."

"Every time I want to have a laugh or a good time, the mood always gets killed by the knocks on the door." She said, before taking the last sip of her now finished tea.

He smiled and then went to the door. His heart beat was increasing, after each step he took. His muscles became tense and he clenched his jaw, wishing, praying and hoping it wasn't who he thought it was.

"Good Morning, Mr Rodrigo." A policeman said. "Phew" Joshua thought.

"Morning. Hey, uh, Sir. It's raining out, do you want to talk inside?"

"I think I'll be fine."

"Are you sure? You know, 'cause I just thought you'd feel col-"

"No, I'm all good."

"Okay,"

"I have some questions to ask you."

"Okay, go ahead." He gestured with his hands. In his mind, all he could think about was how scared he was just to open the door. He felt dumb for being too paranoid, but you never know.

"So, firstly, we hadn't been sure there was 2 people in this case, but after a few more tests, it became clear that there was another person in all of this."

"Okay, do we know who it is?"

"Not exactly,no. But, may I ask you if anything significant or that you feel is important to us that you might want to say or show me?"

"Uh, well. Can I go grab my girlfriend, uh, sorry. She's better at explaining than I am. Just wait here a minute." And with that Joshua went to go find Olivia. She was sat on the sofa and was binge-watching one of her favourite TV shows.

"What's wrong?" She said, turning around.

"Uh, I need you to tell the police about yesterday and the things Adam said to you."

"Oh, uh sure." She got up and started to make her way to the door.

"Hello, uhm. So, basically, at the party, we saw Adam and he started saying things to me, you know, complimenting me and things like that." She looked at Joshua as she said this, nodding at him to show that she was speaking the truth.

"Okay, did he say or do anything that you think is suspicious?"

"Well, he did make me mad by kissing this girl named, Sabrina, but-"

"Sabrina, what?"

"Carpenter." Joshua said, quickly.

"Hmm, it seems as though, if they would work together to make you jealous, then surely enough, they'd work together to plan something against one of you, yes?"

"Oh yeah." Joshua said as he pointed a finger. "He's a genius." He whispered in her ear.

"We'll go get some information off of her and some of her DNA and see if it matches this person, if not then we shall investigate further. Thank you for your support and time."

"No problem." Joshua said, shutting the door.

"Wow," He said.

"I have no words, nothing to say." She stood, frozen in shock.

She felt so stupid and so did he. The clues were right in front of them, yet they were too blind to see them. At the party, they had had too much fun, they'd forgotten about everything, including this case of Adam the psycho. They had only planned everything, how Adam was going to start a commotion at the drinks table, how he'd kiss Sabrina and make her jealous, how Sabrina would walk up to Joshua just to strike up a conversation and make him feel sympathy for her. All the plans had worked out for them except for the last one. Joshua still brags about his epic ending to the dumb conversation he had with her.

"What shall we do now?" Olivia said, making her way to the living room, Joshua tagging along right behind her.

"I don't know, how will we move onwards with this?" He said, sitting down on the sofa, while Olivia sat next to him.

"I don't know either. It's crazy, how love can make crazy things happen in your life, you know?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, because I love you, Adam's getting all jealous and hot headed that he's seeking revenge, but if he is willing to hurt me or someone I love, does that even mean he loved me? Was he just using me for fame and money?"

"Liv, you are thinking this over, and way too much! You need to just, take a deep breath and breathe in and out."

After following Joshua's breathing techniques, there was a moment of silence. Well, more than a moment, more like a few minutes.

"You know, what?" Olivia grabbed his hand, which made his eyes fall onto the grasp below. "Let's forget about this and play some board, games? I don't know."

"Okay, fine by me. But, please, please, don't cry when I win all the games." He said, proudly, pointing to himself as he said this.

"Please, Josh. You already know, I'm going to win." She said, confidently.

"Okay, wanna bet?" He took his hand out for her to shake.

"Go on, I'm ready for one of your silly bets."

"Whoever wins, gets to have loads of chocolate."

"Okay, deal."
