[2] They Talk Again

When Adam wasn't looking, she took the piece of paper out and read it. It said, "Hey, I missed u Joshua :)" She smiled at the paper and tucked it away.

Meanwhile, Joshua was on his way home too. He couldn't stop thinking about the pretty brunette girl. He tried to stop because he knew he couldn't have her, but couldn't. She was all he could ever think about. In order to forget about the gorgeous girl, he put in his air pods and listened to some music. He connected his phone to them and listened. He was crossing the road and suddenly, "Good 4 u" started playing. He nodded his head to the rhythm and had not noticed the light turn red. This was his chance to cross the road. Joshua, cross the road already! But no, he was now hysterically crying because he dug deep into the lyrics.

"Good 4 u, she's saying good for me. She thinks I don't love her anymore." He cried but stopped and remembered the road and why he was even at the streets. Home. He was crossing the road and hadn't had a chance to look at the lights to see what colour they shone. Green lights. Crossing. Walking

"Stop!" Olivia shouted. "That's Josh!" She quickly opened the door and lifted her raven black dress up, trying not to ruin it. 

"Hey, are- are you alright?" 

"Just about, I mean I'm glad I didn't get hit"

"Hey, uhm, why don't you come in the car? I don't want to see this happen to you again."

"I guess I can sit at the front?"

"Or I could get Adam to move to the front? Yeah?" She said, smiling.

"Okay," He smiled back, "But, I get to pick the song."

"Okay, come on" She said. 

And so that is exactly what they did. Olivia asked Adam to move to the front and he was hesitant but eventually agreed. Adam wasn't too sure about this new Joshua guy. Well, he wasn't sure about anything since he wasn't new. Joshua was in fact her ex boyfriend so he was rather old.

 They danced their butts off and sang their hearts out to some Taylor Swift classics and to some Billy Joel. Then, as they waited for the next song to come on, Olivia felt a hand, caress her thigh.

"Josh," She whispered. "What are you doing? I have a boyfriend now and guess what? He's in the same car!"

"I'm sorry," He quickly took away his hand. "I didn't mean to touch you, I just like putting one hand on the window and the other on the car seat."

"Oh, well, it's okay. Just don't tell, you know, who about this."

"About what?" A voice said. "Tell me, 'cause I wanna know," Adam smiled. Olivia and Joshua just looked at each other at the same time. They both knew that Adam was thinking they were talking about a joke. They both exchanged a look and got thinking of a joke. Joke, joke, what joke? Then, Olivia spoke.

"Uh, why don't koalas count as bears?" She nervously spoke.

"Uhm, I don't know. Why don't they?"

"Because they don't have the right koalafications! Ahahaha! See, funny, right?"

She laughed but looked at Josh and widened her eyes. She wanted him to laugh too otherwise it would have been weird, laughing by herself. He laughed back saving the awkwardness from reaching her. Soon, they found themselves at her hotel. She was staying here for a bit until the Award Shows and Ceremonies were all finished. The car stopped for her.

"Hey, uhm, what about Josh?"

"He's definitely not staying with us, babe" Adam spoke.

"Of course not, why would I?" Olivia was about to defend Joshua but he signalled to stop by cutting his neck. 

He got out of the car and waved goodbye. Olivia waved back and smiled. She got out of the car and saw lights from every direction. Oh no, she was being bombarded.

"Olivia!" Someone called out.

"Please, sign my album," A voice said but slowly drifted away when they were pushed away by men in black.

"Thank god I have bodyguards." She said to herself.

"Hi everyone, I love you all so much. Bye now, bye bye!"

She got into the hotel and the doors were being blocked. She looked out of the windows with sympathy on her face. Poor fans, all they wanted was to see their idol. She waved and blew kisses to them. 

"Hey, babe, I'm gonna take a shower so I'll see you in 10, okay?"

"Mhm," and he cupped her face and kissed her. He had red on his lips so she pulled him back before he took his first step on the stairs.

"Silly boy, here let me wipe it off for you"

"No worries, I'll just wash it off, plus I wouldn't wipe it off, cause it's from you."

He walked up the stairs and waved and she mouthed "goodbye." But then, she saw a face, from afar. From a distance, she saw a boy with brown eyes and messy hair, looking directly at her. Eyes. Hair. Suit. JOSHUA! Oh my gosh, what was he doing? Olivia had dropped him off from the car. She thought he was making his way home, not making his way to her! She needed to talk to him about this so she waited until the doors were free from people and walked across the street. 

"Hey, I thought you went home, what are you doing here?" 

"I came to give you your gloves" He gave them to her hands.

"Oh oka-"

"And to tell you something." He put a finger on her lips and shushed her. 

"I would want to stay with you." He whispered in her ears and caressed her face, lightly.

"Huh?"

Stay, stay. What was he talking about? Oh, he was talking about the thing she said when she asked about where Joshua would go. He wanted to stay... with HER!? No, Adam wouldn't like that. She kept telling herself to remember Adam. 

"Bye, Liv" He said, smiling with his big brown eyes.

What had just happened. The young woman in a jet-black dress stood silently thinking on a red carpet in front of the place she was staying at. 

"Miss Rodrigo, Would you like to come inside now?" 

"Uh, yes, thank you. It's, uh, quite chilly out here."

"Yes, Ma'am,"

"Hey, uh, actually, If you don't mind, can I have some hot chocolate please?"

"Yes, Ma'am," And off the body guard went.

She turned around, shivering. She rubbed her arms, in effect of being cold. But then, she felt a warm black suit, wrap her arms and body in warmth. She had an instinct to smell it. Mm! It smelled like, AGAIN JOSHUA! She turned around to see, a note on the ground and a boy who was now in a white shirt only and black pants. He turned around, waved and left. She was confused and read the note. It said, "Keep the jacket, as long as you want. I'm just happy you feel comfort." he ended the note with a smiley face after writing his name.
