[6] They Watch Again

Hey guys, I'm so sorry for not updating this. It's been a month and I've been busy with my life and school but now I'm back. Sorry, again + if you expect alot, please don't. I'm so bad writing lol. Here's the story.

Joshua pranced around the house while Olivia sat down and made herself and him a cup of tea to relax and try to calm down. It had seemed it wasn't working. He was too busy thinking about if he gave too much or too little information to the police. 

"Josh, come sit down! Your tea's getting cold." She said faking a smile, though she knew quite frankly she wasn't okay at all. She was just as panicked as he was.

"Okay, so when the police get here," He muttered under his breath. "I'm gonna show them the brick with the note and then, boom, all the evidence that we need."

Olivia heard everything and so she went and brought him to the table. He sat down next to her and sipped his tea. His legs, they were shaking uncontrollably. Olivia seemed to notice this so she put a hand on his leg and this stopped it. She faced him towards and her and kissed him lightly on the lips.

"Hey, Josh. Don't worry, okay? It's all gonna be just fine."

"Oh, it's gonna be fine? There's a guy who's probably plotting my death right now and how he's going to take the love of my life away from me and the police might not be able to fix this, I, I'm sorry."

"Why?"

"Because," He licked his lips, to stop his lips and throat going dry. He was finding it hard to speak. "Because, what if I'm not enough."

"No, Josh. You are en-"

"No, no, Liv. What if I'm not enough to take this guy down and protect you. I want you to feel safe."

"Well, baby, I'm always safe, when I'm with you." She said. 

Her voice broke at the end and he grabbed her into a hug. This hug was more different to the others they'd had. Not that the others weren't as good but this one felt more special. More like they had to fight for their love and not like last time. They both pulled away from the hug and finished their teas.

"Wait, do they have the pictures?" Olivia asked, blinking her eyes.

"Ah, no." He face palmed but Olivia pulled his hand away from his red face.

"Well, what now? How do we get them?"

"Uh, to be honest, baby. I don't know."

"Oh well." Olivia said, clearing the table. 

Joshua stayed sat on the table and thought about this whole experience. It had its ups and downs. The way this all started because of two teenage actors who happened to fall in love and create such chaos was mind blowing to him. He loved her so much so he didn't want that creep Adam to lay a finger on her. He couldn't and can't hurt her like he had last time.

The door bell rang and the door was knocked on a few times.

"I'll get it," Joshua said as he opened to the door to see a bunch of policemen.

"Good Evening. I'm here to talk about the phone call you made a few minutes ago."

"Oh, uh, yes, right. About the incident, I have a brick that has a note attached from the person who's been harassing me and my girlfriend Olivia." Joshua said.

"Who has been harassed more?"

"Uhm, Olivia?"

"Can we please see the woman?"

"Uh, sure, just wait here a minute."

Joshua went to find Olivia in the kitchen. 

"I'm surprised to see you remember the layout of the house." He said.

"Oh yeah? Well, it wasn't that hard y'know cause I was here last last year?" She said pinching his cheeks.

"So, what's up Josh? I mean, is one of your friends at the door, or...?" She said, putting the tea cups away in the cupboard.

Joshua gulped. He didn't know how to say it.

"The police are here and want to talk to you." He blurted out as sweat trickled down his face.

"Oh, okay. Well, let me go check it out."

The policeman stood, looking down and kicking little rocks on the front step of Joshua's place.

"Ah, yes. Miss Rodrigo, I'd like to talk to you about the incident. We have received minor evidence," He brought up the brick with the note attached to it. "from your partner. Perhaps you may have a little more?"

"Uh, well there was, in fact, a photo of us together which, uh, Sir, links with the note that I believe," She looked towards Joshua who was now stood next to her, holding her hand. It was sweaty. She was so nervous she was lost for words. Luckily, he helped her through it.

"That, we, believe" Joshua said. "Adam Faze had sent us in order to get revenge on me or rather Olivia? I don't know."

"Thank you, Miss and Mr Rodrigo. I shall tell my team to investigate further on this case. Until, then stay safe and please report any strange behaviour or occurrences that may still happen."

And just like that, they went on with their day. The police left and Olivia shut the door.

"What was that? A joke?"

"What?" Joshua asked. "The police is not a-"

"Miss and Mr Rodrigo" She imitated the police man's low voice.

"Well, he must've assumed that we were married or something? I don't know?" He ended off by laughing.

"Mhm? So, what do you wanna do now?" Olivia asked, walking towards the sofa.

"Uh, movie time?" 

"Okay, then." 

And so Olivia went into the kitchen once more. Like she told him, she knew her way around the kitchen and so she didn't even bother to ask where the popcorn was. She found other snacks hidden around this mess of a kitchen and made whatever it is that she made.

"Hey, why's it taking so long?" He groaned.

"Just a minute, and why's it so messy in here?"

"Uh, I don't know. I guess when you feel like sh!t all the time, ya just lose motivation to do things."

"Come on, Josh. Cleaning a kitchen is simple."

"Please, "simple"?"

"Okay, let's stop debating about what's not simple and what is and let's just watch the movie" She came back with snacks in her hands.

They watched the movie and got bored halfway.

"You said this movie was good!" Josh complained.

"Well, I only read the reviews!"

*LATER*

About 20 minutes later, they fell asleep on each other but Joshua had woken up. He saw how peaceful she looked as she slept. He didn't want to disturb her so gently lifted her up and put her in his bed. He then went in his bed and held her in his hands.
