[13] The Finale (Part 4)

~ IN THE MORNING ~

The warm sun filtered into the rooms of the loving people in their cozy beds, making them shift around and become uncomfortable. They knew that the day had started and were not ready to wake up. It had been a restless night and mostly for poor Sabrina. She couldn't sleep all night, 

though they encouraged her too because it would probably heal her head aches.

Sabrina got out of bed and tidied it up. She yawned as she opened the door to sunlight. She shield her eyes with one hand and used the other to feel her way around. She opened her eyes to see Joshua coming out of the bathroom.

"Do you still ne-"

"Nah, I'm good. I just had a shower, so you can use it now." He shook his curls making the floor 

wet.

"Thank you, oh and does Olivia need it? Because if she does, she can go before me, I don't 

mind."

"Oh, uh, yeah it's fine. She woke up like ages ago, so you're free to go."

"Oh, okay. Thanks."

Sabrina did her things that she needed to do and got dressed. She wore light makeup and was too hungry to pick something fancy so she wore what made her feel comfortable. Down the stairs she went when a sweet smell filled her nostrils. She loved pancakes so much, she knew what it was as soon as she smelled it. She saw Olivia and Joshua serving up food at the table.

"Oh, hey Sab! We were just making pancakes, your favourite!" She smiled the warm smile she had last night, except it made Sabrina feel safe and happy to be there with them.

"How did you kn-"

"Oh, Joshua told me."

"Oh," She took a seat in the middle of the two of them. She immediately began to dig in to this wonderful plate that was right in front of her eyes. They tasted so good that she wanted to eat 

more and more but she couldn't or she'd feel so sick of the sweetness.

"Thanks guys." She said, after swallowing the last bite of her first pancake.

"No worries and any time you have a worry, just talk to us."

"I sure will." Sabrina smiled before clearing up and taking the dishes to the sink.

~ TIME SKIP~

It was later in the evening where Olivia, Joshua and Sabrina were having the time of their lives. They danced and played and did everything fun that they could possibly do. They just wanted to make the most of their time together, instead of hating each other because of what happened throughout the past few years and what had happened recently. 

They had so much fun that they had forgotten all about it and about Adam. Joshua was the one making those cringey, cheesy jokes and Olivia was the one who got cracked up the most. Sabrina was the one who took the game seriously, but not too seriously. She would smile at how cute they were together. She also believed they were made for each other, and she was spitting facts. 

When it was Sabrina's turn, she rolled the dice and hoped it'd be a six. This would ensure she got the victory she deserved. Just then, it rolled on 4... 1... 6! ... 3 because Joshua banged the floor with his hand, bursting into a loud laughter. 

"Seriously, Joshua? At the worst time ever, you had to find something funny? Ugh, and I was going to win." She said, frustrated that he had done that.

"What? I'm just laughing at this c-" He continued to laugh, this time harder. "Cute dog, wearing baby clothes, haha!" He showed both of the girls his phone.

"Aw." They both said, in unison.

"But, still! Now Liv can win!" 

She sulked as she rested her chin on one hand. She watched in anticipation as it was Olivia's turn to roll the dice. Her heart beat increased, beating faster and louder than when she had rolled the rice. She knew this was it, the moment that Olivia would laugh in her face because she had won. The dice rolled from 1... 4... 3! 

"Ha!" Sabrina shouted in excitement.

"Aw man!" Olivia said, upset because she had officially lost the game.

"This means I win! You lose!"

"No fair! Let's play another round, and hey, Josh?"

"Hmm?" He looked up from his phone.

"Can you please be part of this? Or at least get off your phone and watch?"

"Sure." He slipped his phone back into his pocket and began to pump himself up for this game. He was so ready to win, he could feel it inside of him.

"Ready?" Olivia asked.

"Born ready." He responded, proudly.

~ A FEW MINUTES LATER ~

Who ever thought that a little game of "Monopoly" would end up in a big deal between the 3 people who loved each other the most? Well, I'd never guess. They played until their hands went sore and they were all determined to win this game, though there was nothing you could physically win, the prize was knowing that the other 2 people who had lost in front of your eyes were so bad at the game, that you had won.

 Whilst in the intense match, however, a phone call disturbed the game and in the middle of it. It was from the police. They had just contacted them to let them know that everything is, well, will be sorted out as soon as possible. This was a relief to all of them as they all just wanted to forget about it and lock it away into the past. Anyways, they carried on playing until they had reached the end of the game.

"Hey guys," Joshua said, rolling the dice for the last time. 

"Hmm?" Both Sabrina and Olivia said.

"What if, we forget everything that's happened? Not the best parts of our lives, but the falls. Remember, the drama? Fuck it, alright? It's now all the in the past."

"Agreed," They both say.

"Hey, GROUP HUG!" Joshua says, a smile tugging at his lips.

Joshua pulls both of them into a warm, tight hug and they all laugh.
