Chapter 2: A Demon, A Pegasus, and a Gray Witch

Liam went downstairs to the cafeteria. The boy went downstairs to the cafeteria. The cafeteria was different than at his old school. Celestial Boarding's tables had to be put with other tables. He looked around and decided to sit next to a demon. The demon wore a spiked choker, a red and black corset top with sleeves, baggy black pants with chains and pockets all over, and tall platform boots. Along with the demon, there were a Witch and a Pegasus. The Witch wore a baggy band teeshirt with cargo pants and Doc Martens. The Pegasus wore a white corset, long black skirt, a petticoat, and white platforms. "Oh, hello,"? The demon told Liam. "I'm Liam, who are you,"? "My name is Kozue,"! Turns out, Liam and Kozue both love pins. Liam's bag had a ton, and so did Kozue's. They bonded over their collections of pins. After some chatting, Liam found out more about Kozue. Unlike Liam, a gay man, Kozue was both Abrosexual and Genderfluid. They also were a sophomore. Liam didn't even notice until they started eating that Kozue had an eyebrow piercing and a tongue piercing. The kitchen gave them dry pizza to celebrate the first day. Along with Kozue was Chikhere, or Hera for short. They were a non-binary, unlabeled Gray Witch. Hera was plus-sized, unlike Kozue who was mid-size, or Liam who was muscular. Hera and Liam both talked about the bands they listened to. The Pegasus was Andrea. Andrea was a trans lesbian. She and Liam talked about goth and punk fashion. Even as different as everyone was, they still were all well-off royal members. The lunch room was packed, it had about 100 students. Liam's original school only had 200 kids. Everyone ate their dry pizza and it filled the cafeteria with its smell. "Ring! Ring! Ring!" Liam's phone went off, he checked the number, it was, Denise. Why was she calling him, they hadn't talked in years. Liam didn't know what to do, but he decided to click "Answer". "HI LIAM! Remember me. You and your friends should come over here,"! The call ended after that. Lo and behold, there sat Denise. The ghost wore a gold two-piece jacket and skirt. She looked, older. Once the four sat down with her, everyone knew she had vodka. She picks up a cigarette pack and hands it to the four kids. Hera and Andrea declined, but Kozue and Liam took one each. Liam's father always frowned upon smoking, but Liam thought that he would only live once. Denise gave them the lighter and the two started coughing. Liam was relieved no teacher was watching. Well, that was until a young woman who looked like Denise appeared. "Didi, remember what your mom told you? I'll have to confiscate this,". The woman then proceeded to take away the lighter and the cigarettes. "Sorry guys, that was my aunt,". Denise told everyone. Liam was still shocked about how much Denise had changed. She was two years older, but Liam always befriended older kids. Denise was the girlfriend of one of Liam's friends. Back then, Denise was a bland person. All she did was do stuff with her friends. Denise told Liam that after her boyfriend cheated on her, she realized she did nothing. So Denise started sewing. But Denise wanted to go back to being a party girl after a while. She still sews though. After chitchatting, Liam realized lunch was almost over. He said goodbye as the bell rang.
