Chapter 6: Denise Tricks and Treats Herself

Monday, October 31st
Liam had a rollercoaster of emotions through the entire month of October. He fought with his best friend, talked to his mother for the first time, then she died. At least he had his first kiss and his first make-out session. Halloween today and so was the party. The bad news was it wouldn't be run by Ms. Adonica, since she had to resign after suspicions about her killing Aerinn. Now her trial is in March. Now, the new principal was Mr. Jadu. He was still the magic teacher, but he'd have some more stuff to do. Mr. Jadu was running a costume contest. The categories were the best costume, best DIY costume, best duo costume, group costume, most original, and funniest. The group was candy since they couldn't agree on anything else. Liam was a Skittle, Kozue was an M&M, Andrea was a Starburst, Hera was a Sour Patch Kid, Denise was an Airhead, and Ananka was a Kit Kat. Once everyone was there, they realized how boring this was going to be. Copper wanted to be different, so he was Diluc from Genshin Impact. He was kind of sad when no one recognized him. Then, there was Afu. He wore the Black Spider-Man costume. Instead of the usual side-swept hair red hair, he had a short wolf cut. Denise was pissed. She wore a red body suit with a red Airhead logo, while he looked like a treat. She knew it was bad, he was a bitch. But, she needed somebody after her online human boyfriend turned out to be a siren. She stared at him. "Attention students, I'm excited to announce that a new student is coming to our school right now. Please be nice to our new student, Prince Achill O'Brien,"! Liam was shocked, no one told him about this. While Denise drank god knows what, Kozue looked at Liam, "Isn't that your brother,"? Liam nodded before the doors opened, showing Achill. Achill looked for his brother before walking down the stairs. "Hey... brother. So, what are you doing here,"? "Dad said that I should be with you, so I am now,"! While Achill and Liam talked, Denise went up to Afu. "Hey, so do you like wanna drink some beer,"? "You're drunk, and look stupid,". She frowned before yelling, "HEY AT LEAST I'M... UH... AT LEAST I'M NOT SOME TEA PAGE OWNING, LOW LIFE, SON OF A BITCH,"! He shushed her before dragging her to a corner, while everyone watched. "Denise, you are very drunk, sit down,". She sat down as he told her to, before unneeded talking, "Y'know, nobody like you, like no one,". Afu laughed before saying, "I know. I'm not stupid. It's fun,". Denise dazed off, and looked in his direction, he took her face a pushed it away from him. She looked back though. He decided to take her bottle and drink some of the beer too, if he had to deal with this he should be drunk at least. The two came to Achill after about 30 minutes. "Liam.... You dyed your hair,"? Denise asked Achill. "No, I'm not actua-,". "AFU I'M GOING TO GO TO THE BATHROOM,"! Denise told Afu, loudly. As she walked to the bathroom in the auditorium, he followed her. Everyone watched with more questions than answers. Mr. Jadu came to the front, ready to announce the winners. "Hello students, we'll be announcing the winners. For the best costume, that goes to the red-haired man with the jacket! The best DIY costume is awarded to the cupcake! The best duo costume is Cher and Dion! The best group goes to the candies! The most original costume is Coraline! The funniest costume goes to the elderly woman! Thank you all for coming, remember the party is finished in an hour,". The rest of the party was spent drinking punch and talking. Nobody knew where Denise and Afu went, and Andrea got concerned. She knocked on the door and Denise shrieked, "I AM BUSY,"! After that, Andrea replied, "Well the party is concluding in under an hour, so you better get out now,". Five minutes later, Afu and Denise came out disgruntled. The party ended and Achill went upstairs to his brother's dorm. Denise and Afu may have been drunk, but their mistake will be something most people wouldn't make at their drunkest.
