Chapter 3: Remember Kozue? I Wish I Didn't

Thursday, September 29th
Liam was already friends with so many people. There was Kozue, Hera, and Andrea. And then there was Denise, Ananka, Copper, and more. At this point, Liam was happy. But, then there was Kozue. The two shared dorms, and even had the same room. One day Kozue asked Liam, "Wanna go to the dance with me? I heard it's gonna be like cool or whatever,". Liam was shaking in his shoes. He really did like Kozue, but they had flaws. For starters, they didn't take anything seriously. They always acted so extra too. After a while, that really started to piss of Liam. But because he really didn't feel like saying no, he just agreed. Everyone was either going with friends or with their partner. Liam didn't really have anything to match the occasion. He saw that Kozue was going to wear a black turtleneck, with a green waistcoat and pants. As per usual Kozue, they added plenty of extra jewelry, accessories, and a beret. Liam went through his bags until he found a leather jacket, a trendy polyester shirt with a butterfly, cargo pants, and Converse. As Liam went to sleep, he thought about the possible mistake he had made.

Friday, September 30th
It was already 6:00. Kozue looked at Liam with a beaming smile, Liam smiled back awkwardly.  Kozue did look stunning, but Liam needed to tell them. The others started to come out of their dorms too. Hera wore a lace shirt, a grunge hoodie, and a maxi skirt. Andrea wore a slip dress as a skirt, and a button up with a corset over it. Denise wore a long-sleeved dress with a squared collar. Once Liam's roommates were done, they went downstairs. Some people didn't even go, like Liam's new friends Ananka and Copper. They both did school work. But most were going to the party. It was held in the gym. Once they got in, they realized how unexciting this was. Liam friends all left him, only leaving him and Kozue. Once again, they had a beaming smile. That smile made Liam more nervous to tell Kozue what he actually thinks of them. But he just sat with them at a table. "Hey. Y'know it's been fun with you. But you are a lot, and I don't wanna deal wit-" Kozue already turned that smile upside down. "You think I'm a lot! ME! YOU SON OF A BITCH! I CANNOT BELIEVE I LIKED YOU!,"! Kozue got up and started pushing Liam. He got up starting to push back. Everyone watched, and they recorded too. "SLAM!" Liam went when he hit the wall. "SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!" "BAM!" Kozue fell over. "SCREECH!" Kozue slipped fell. Principal O'Connor ran to the scene, and pushed the two away.

Liam was still reeling from what just happened. Now the two were at the principals office. Liam thought to himself about how much punishment he could be in. I mean, it's his mother, she wouldn't go to hard, right? "Hello, Liam and Kozue. You two are well aware of what just happened, and how you two have messed up. I've already informed both of your parents. You two are suspended, this will last for 15 days. In this time you'll reflect, and come back with a better version of yourself. I also changed your dorms. From now on, you'll be in dorm 1, Liam. Your parents will be picking you up soon. Kozue, you are dismissed. Liam, stay in my office for a bit longer please,". Kozue got up, and looked back at the two. Liam fidgeted with his hands. "Liam, I know your father already told you about me. And I know you think I'll be more lenient just because I'm your mother, but I won't be. I'll treat you the same as another student, because you are all equals. Good luck son, you are dismissed,". Liam got up and walked out. All he could think about was how he talked to his mother for the first time, at 15 years old. Most people grow up with their mothers, but Liam never got that luxury. The speakers called for him to get picked up, and he drove away to spend the next 15 days in what he hoped wouldn't be total hell.
